BDH has always been bangin', but that last gif...jeyzus.
Agreed, I just listened to the Spider-Man 3 episode of "How Did This Get Made" podcast and they said outta her, Kirsten Dunst, and The Ursula girl that Ursula was the hottest LMAO

Nooooo

Ursula was cute but way too thin, Dunst is pretty as well, but BDH takes the cake.

She is smoking hot , but I feel like these are imitation shots from different films.

Anyway I'm hoping for a 4k transfer / blu Ray of Jurrassic Park next year. I read the blu Rays were sub par and it's odd not to have one of my favorite films on blu ray yet.

Well it's confirmed we will have a JW super bowl spot.

What is the name? MOSASAURUS?

It is much too big - i can not read anything about a dino living in the water as big as this creature...
The White Shark should be around 5 meters plus...

K. Dunno what you're going on about but you also do realize this is a MOVIE and there are a lot of inaccuracies in the JP films when it regards these creatures. Bottom line is like I said its a MOVIE. That features genetically created dinosaurs. Do you grasp this or you just don't care and want to complain because you want everything to be scientifically accurate to the last little detail?

@ Broseph44

I am not a 6 year old kid - you??

The bottom line is, that it is a dino movie with, normally, dinos "we all know"! Although it is a movie, we also do not see a 50meter high T Rex, or?

I - bad that you did not understand - just asked, what the name of this dino is, because i do not know any dino this size!

Do you grasp this, or you just do not care and want to complain because it is a movie? ;)

Is anybody else not too impressed by this film based on the trailer and what else we know about it, or is it just me?

I'm sure there are others.

I'm not, though. I'm excited.

Hey everyone, a bit behind on the film here. Just want to ask, have they addressed the whole feathered Dinosaur issue?

Pay him no attention. He often lashes out at people for having opinions that are even the slightest bit negative.

I think the answer is the same as it has always been. These are not 100% clones. In fact, I think they might actually full address this in this film, what with the D-rex and all.

Broseph,

I have to admit that you came off as really aggressive.

Anyone expecting the dinosaurs to be scientifically accurate is expecting to much from this movie. Sure, the filmmakers in the original trilogy did kinda base their dinosaurs on scientific discoverys of the time, but the Dino's in the film were created for entertainment purposes mostly. In the context of the JP lore, these are cloned dinosaurs from frog and other reptiles DNA. So they wouldn't be 110% accurate anyway. So I do think it's silly nitpicking to complain about stuff like the Mosasuars size. Bottom line, the JP films have NEVER been about accurately depicting dinosaurs, so if you want more accurate Dino's watch a discovery or animal planet TV special instead. Or visit a museum and check out real dinosaur bones and look up information there.

As I understand we don't really know everything about the dinosaurs anyway. There was a big deal about raptors having feathers or something alon those lines. I've been out of the loop on the research aspect but the fact they create a new species in the film leads me to view this as pure science fiction. Id like them to be accurate as possible but it's not entirely necessary for me to enjoy the film.

Thank you Shadow exactly. If anyone thought I was aggresive or whatever that's fine I don't care. Pay me no mind then haha. Just looking forward to seeing more now that we know we are getting a super bowl spot :woot: So I'm set haha.

There seemed to be a lot more effort on the first film to portray the dinosaurs in the film more in line with scientific viewpoints at the time, or at least Jack Horner's viewpoints (Giving the raptors more birdlike movements rather than snakelike with flitting tongues, etc). To say those efforts weren't made because continuing advances in paleontology proved a lot of their assumptions wrong is a bit revisionist.

The largest Mosasaur may have been around 18 meters long, and while an adult great white may average around 6 meters, it still could be a small shark.

Either way, it's a bit of an exaggeration, but this movie seems to be cementing what the series had been hinting at since 1990: that InGen's "dinosaurs" are nothing more than genetically altered theme park monsters. They are certainly not the real deal.

I'm more skeptical about how deep that pool is for the mosy. It would need to be like 100 feet deep to enclose that monster. Also not too smart to build the trolley track through it...you know it's going to take it down.

Once again exactly, thank you. People seem to forget haha.

It looks like the lagoon continues on around the spectator stands. Yeah, there's got to be some kind of containment field around that track. That thing about InGen dinos being more or less monsters, I never got that vibe from the original movie. I like that approach for this one.
