I estimate my JP film ranking will be:

Jurassic Park
Jurassic World
The Lost World
Jurassic Park III

You don't know that yet. :o

Just saying, you never know how these things work out. Will it most likely be good? Yeah, I think so. But I seem to remember many people here and online thinking Interstellar was gonna be one of Nolan's best too.

The idea is training Raptors like they can train hunting dogs (or wolves)....as Raptors are fairly intelligent dinos who could be trained to obey some basic orders.

The main point is they are "trained" not "tamed", which means that they are still wild unpredictable animals.

I dont understand why people are so hung up about trained raptors from birth. Heck killer whales are trained and even sometimes theynturn on there handlers, same with animals in zoos with attacks we see on youtube. Wild dangerous intelligent animals can be trained but stll deadly at any moment for humans.
Precisely. I've seen a few people on other sites that seem to be mixing up or thinking that trained is always equal to tamed or domesticated. it's not, there is a difference in the terms.

A lot of zoos now train their animals to a degree (from the smallest monkeys, to the big cats, to the elephants) to make things like vet checkups and regular or routine procedures a bit easier for both the animal and the medical staff and handler(s). But just because that training is there doesn't mean the animals have become completely docile - it doesn't make them tame or domesticated, and that training doesn't mean a lion or tiger (etc...) won't lash out if pushed or nudged ever so slightly in the wrong way or if the wrong person or a stranger enters their enclosure.

Seeing Pratt interact with his raptors is one of the things I'm looking forward too, but I've no doubt those things are still lethal as heck and I'm sure Pratt's character is keenly aware of that.

Love it :woot::woot:

I would love if theres a scene with pratt explaining to the kids how he trains them and what he cant or shouldnt do to tick them Off.

From Starlord to Raptor Neo.

Not bad, Chris.

Best tv spot of the bunch . The IRex looks great and Pratt interacting with the raptors looks awesome.

I'd rather be shown than told. This seems like the sort of spectacle the Park would make part of the exhibit. Have guests watching through one-way glass or something.

Yo, is Chris crying in that second gif?
I think some of it is the effect of the post-processing work on the gifs. I'd say it's wariness/caution more than anything.

Has this been addressed? First trailer screen shot vs. Superbowl trailer screenshot.

The raptors are looking very good.

The snarl on the far right is reminiscent of the snarl in the kitchen in the original.

but here is the problem. this was not changed for realism. they didnt make it more realisitc. they changed the railroad bridge. they changed how the JW looks. the water around the animal doesnt make a different IMO.

But makes more sense since this dinosaur would be jumping out of the water and taking out the railroad bridge. So they fixed it for the better. Anyway, it doesn't matter. The final product is the only important thing. All this other stuff is none of our business.

The composition from the first trailer may have been created specifically for the trailer. The opening shot, with the Jurassic World gates, the monorail going through right to the lagoon, may not exist in the film. If that's the case, removing the rail from the shot is important to better represent the final film.

Comparison GIF. Top is the SuperBowl spot, bottom is the first teaser. Open in new tab for full size.

Presumably because it's intelligent.

Look at it this way, cats, the kind that people have as pets, have been known to wipe out indigenous bird populations in some areas, and these cats are well fed house pets. They kill for fun.

If the iRex is even half as smart as Velociraptors have been portrayed as in this series thus far, it's smarter than a housecat.

Killer whales and dolphins kill for fun. Dolphins will kill sharks and killer whales will kill seal pups and just play with the corpses.

Also def cats. It's a life meme how cats kill birds and lizards and just lay them at the door or even bring them to their owner.

Another comparison. Teaser on top, Super Bowl spot on bottom.
