I wonder if they have plans to make sequels to this considering many think that the plot line is already thinning out.
I want this, too. Rain and wind in a jungle is a good atmosphere.I'm hoping we get another night time rainy scene with some Dinos. We've had nighttime rainy dino scenes in all 3. Another staple of the franchise I'm sure they'll put in again.
maybe the plan would be to take out the carnivores? i mean.. it's not like the herbivores are actually hurting anything or anyone (though i wonder how that river canoe thing works... that seems a bit of a liability even for herbivores hanging around...

What sort of liabilities? The herbivores getting spooked and stampeding?

Having spent some time in the wild the thing people should know is that herbivores are actually deadlier than carnivores.
When I was on the Nile, no one cared about the crocodiles. But the hippos? They are mean, territorial mother****ers.
Rhinos and elephants aren't much better. And we all know what bulls can do.
Meanest animal I ever encountered in the wild? A ****ing swan.
Maybe they're paying the government, and those guests that don't take the bribes get turned into the humanoid dinos from the older concept art (and play a major role in the sequel).
Yeah, now that you mention it, I recall how that steggo flipped out when Sarah got too close to the baby.
The whole thing about the mosquito collecting specimens that lived millions of years apart, in different parts of the world (many not even in the Jurassic period) kind of bugged me even as a kid.

Certain things like the canoeing down the river I think just are best left alone. No need to over analyze or break it down for an explanation. It's basically being shown in the film for a brief cool moment on screen. To show a beautiful contrast of the humans being with the animals. Overthinking it will just drive you crazy. Just enjoy the visual of it.
'Dennis Steals the Embryos' is by far my favourite Jurassic Park cue.

Mysterious, suspenseful and exotic. Love the atmosphere it gives off.

the gyro balls, the safari truck, and the monorail make far more sense than the canoeing... that just baffles me.
me too. I think the only way honestly, to do a sequel. Is make this such a disaster that the government pretty much demands some of the specialist (like grant) return to the island, to figure out a way to end it all. I think keeping nostalgia of old cast members returning may be the only way to keep people interested.. because nostalgia otherwise will be gone after this film. You can't keep hinting at it via visuals in a sequel.
