Those are great but can you spoiler tag then? It crashed my phone browser loading this page.

Some really iconic shots there.

I just hope pratt's character isn't rolling with those pack of raptors. Makes zero sense.

If you read that recent interview with Trevorrow, he talks about this a bit he goes on to say "Owen's relationship with the raptors is complicated. They aren't friends. These animals are nasty and dangerous and they'll bite your head off if you make the wrong move. But there are men and women out there today who have forged tenuous connections with dangerous predators. That's interesting territory to me." And he would be right, there are people on the wild today with these weird connections with predators, have you seen this guy and those lions?

Crazy stuff, but I am interested to see where they go with it

Maybe read the interview there buddy. And try to understand what they're trying to do before jumping to conclusions, because what they're doing is very plausible just like other predators in real life.

The damn dynamic needed to be switched up. There needs to be some dinos that aren't just out for blood constantly and show signs of slight camaraderie.

IMO, regarding the raptors. It shows some progression from the previous movies.

Got no problem with raptor bloodhounds.

I've got no problem with him "befriending" them for lack of a better work. But hunting alongside them as if they are glorified Bloodhounds takes it a bit too far IMO. I guess we will see how it works out in the film, but right now I'm wary.

Yeah, you'll have to see the movie because both sides can theorize it but knowing us geeks, i think the stance can be too extreme and unfair for a movie that's not even out yet. I don't know.

I like the trailer a lot. It may not offer anything new, just a warm feeling of nostalgia about being in audience and gripping the armrest.:cwink:

It is not too far fetched that Pratt's character will probably use raptors to hunt.

Most of the actual fossilised Dromaeosauridae (generally called Velocuraptor) are of similar size as large chicken and they along with birds belong to the same clade group. They are most definitely feathered (not for flight) especially on their tail.

It is a speculation, but dino -raptors will probably behave similarly to birds of prey like eagle and falcon. Both of which have been trained to hunt by human.

Why are you taking this so personal? Anyone who seems to joke or dislike Chris Pratt and his pet raptors seems to be scolded by you every single time. Just chill okay?

Hahaha okay, just trying to tell him to maybe read a little into it to understand it since he seems so confused or opposed to it. This way he can read the intentions on what they're trying to do. Instead of just dismissing it immediately.

Watching the Seahawks game now, JW trailer should be coming up soon cause they brought up just a few mins ago "this game brought to you by Jurassic World" etc etc

They showed the trailer, a bit shorter version. But still great to see it on my big screen. My mom and sis like me have always loved the franchise and know how much I enjoy it and they're just as excited.mwatching them watch the trailer was great. My sister has watched it a ton of times since it was released early the other day too. :D

Has anyone else here been watching the Jurassic Park marathon on AMC?

Only the first one is a classic.

The rest are beh. I have hope for this one.

The kid can collect my urine if he wants. I'd save him the trouble of waiting for Mr.Rex.

In regards to the mosasaur, how did they extract it's dna to clone it? My memory is fuzzy, but wasn't the DNA for land based dinosaurs taken from mosquitoes fossilized in sap?

:woot: love it

Yessir I was :word:

Well the movie isn't out yet, so we have no answer to that yet. If they explain it in the film then cool, if not then whatever. I personally don't need an explanation for it but I could come up with ones in my head if need be if they don't explain in the film. But for those that need it to be explained, and say for example it isn't come the time the film comes out. Well then that sucks for them haha :oldrazz:

Jp - 9/10
jp2 - 7/10
jp3 - 5.5/10

Glad you liked it and are excited Hunter. :woot:

Well the first movie is one of my all time favourites and it feels like they have captured some of that magic from the trailer! :)

Yeah It took me right back to the original....I have been watching it a lot lately. I'm pretty excited about this movie to say the least. I hope it's not a let down

It's made my mind up that Jurassic Park will be my Christmas Eve film this year. :D
