Just Because-POWERGIRL

Two BIG Reasons To Love POWERGIRL!!!

NOT THOSE TWO THINGS BUDDY!

1. She is one of the most powerful superheroines there is!
2. Her Superman roots give her a mystique and superiority unrivaled!

Post any pics, thoughts, discussions, ect. of POWERGIRL here!

I also read today on the DC boards that they are almost finished working on a new comic with her that should be out before too long!!!!!:yay:

Though the joke would've been predictable as hell, I was still expecting to see a close-up of Power Girl's knockers as soon as I clicked on this thread.

Naughty, Naughty Manic.....

Whatchu looking at?

Certainly not her face.

You don't think she's a looker? I think she's very cutesy with that haircut!

It depends on who draws her. McGuiness draws her hair horribly. Amanda Connor on the other hand...

Well, she is one of my favorite DC characters. But mostly for her, you know, personality, and relationships with other characters, and stuff like that.

I've always liked Powergirl because she was more 3 dimensional that Supergirl... in more ways than one :woot:

I want to love Power Girl so much, but I can't for the life of me understand what her official post-Crisis history is supposed to be. Yes, I know, she's from pre-Crisis Earth-2 and somehow never managed to integrate into New Earth's history. But how does she remember her life? She damn-well doesn't remember her life on the original Earth-2, so what was supposed to be her established background prior to Old Superman showing up during Infinite Crisis?

My thoughts exactly! And hey does anyone have any more updates on the new comic featuring her? News about when it should be out or how it's coming along?

She randomly showed up out of nowhere with vague memories of Krypton and whatnot. Superman and the Kents took her in and looked after her, but it pretty soon became apparent that she wasn't really a Kryptonian (at least, not a Kryptonian of that world, but they didn't know that then). It was ultimately revealed that she was actually related to the Atlantian sorcerer and father of Aquaman, Atalan, who sent her to the future to save her from Atlantis' destruction and gave her Kryptonian powers and false memories so she could have a life. This too, however, proved to be untrue, a falshood crafted by Atalan because lying to and manipulating people is kind of his schtick.

EDIT: Slight mistake. It was the sorcerer Arion, not Atalan. Both Atlantian, but Atalan's a bigger *****ebag. Arion crated the false backstory for Karen at the behest of her "mother" so she could lead a happy life. The mother in question was probably the Earth 2 Lois Lane.

Ah. That explains a lot.

Yes, we get it, her breasts are nice. Hardy har har.

She also was assertive without being *****y and a powerhouse in her own right while Supergirl always seemed to live in her cousin's shadow.

I always liked that about Power Girl. She's related to Superman, but doesn't live in his shadow because she doesn't wear the S on her chest.

Wow. There really is no way to talk about her without bringing up her chest.

You forgot to say "GOOD NEWS EVERYONE"

"'Head them off at the pass'? I hate that cliche!"
--Hedley Lamarr.

How about "Pass them off at the head?" :woot:

There's a story behind why her boobs are busting out. That revealed round hole is there because she ripped her emblem off the front of her suit and threw it off in defiance.

My kind of girl.:cwink:
