Just how expensive is being a superhero/heroine? (Even allowing for being on the Federal payroll- a la post Civil War) Off hand I'd say that for the majority of Marvel heroes who AREN'T independently wealthy( Tony Stark, Reed Richards and co, the late Janet Van Dyne, the Black Panther), that it's being plenty expensive. Job related injuries, repairs to one's costume, inexplicable absences( try telling your boss that you're late back from lunch/or into work or that you had to miss Thanksgiving or relative's birthday because you had to save the world/universe from Galactus/Thanos?). I understand that the Avengers offer their members a living expense(of $15,000 per month) but not every Marvel hero/heroine is an Avenger. Fortunately few if any heroes/heroines are"in it for the money" otherwise the entire Marvel Universe would be in deep doo-doo!

Anybody think as I do?

Terry

Who isn't an Avenger these days?

Meh, a future one. There's no such thing as a canon 616 future, no matter what Marvel says.

Well, she's not a T-Bolt anymore. In this new Heroic Age, she could very well end up an Avenger.
