...and Michael J. Fox would have made an awesome Peter Parker/Spider-Man if a movie was ever made in the 80's. Anyone else agree?

Felt this way for YEARS. Glad I'm not the only one. Right on.

Moreso, Thomas F. Wilson would've made a great Eddie Brock.

...Never thought of that one, but hot diggity ding-dongs, you're not so wrong.

I could actually see that. Like, seriously. :wow:

Anyone up for a little trip through time to bring these two back to the future(love it when that phrase works its way into my dialogue:woot:) for a Spider-Man film series reboot?

Micheal J. Fox - Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Thomas F. Wilson - Eddie Brock/Venom
Lea Thompson - Mary Jane Watson
Crispin Glover - Norman Osborn

I bet WormyT could make a Spidey trailer with old clips from those actors. Is he still around?

It's nuts how perfect these people could have been. I think I need to cry a little.

Yes, he would have been amazing as Peter Parker back in the day

Agreed with all except Crispin as Norman. I think he'd be better as Harry. :gg: :bomb:

George> ...You really think I oughta' swear?
Marty> Yes, absolutely, goddamnit George, swear!

I can't believe how many people thought this could have worked. I love MJF, but as Peter, I can't see it at all. First, he's a little over 5 feet tall. They can work around that in some films, standing on phone books and such, but not in Spider-Man. Second, I've never seen him as awkward or geeky. In BTTF he just seems confused. He was cute and cuddly as my wife says. A science geek? Not even close. His physique would never look right because of his height and his body type. Plus, has no coodination as he's stated, I mean before the Parkinson's.

Put some glasses and a sweater vest on Michael J., and I think it would work. He's not going for geek in BTTF, but he seemed to pull it off pretty well in Atlantis (an otherwise forgettable movie). He's short, but so what? When you're swinging between skyscrapers, nobody notices your height.

Biff as Eddie Brock? Hmmm....yeah, probably. He's certainly got a lot more menace than Topher Grace. (He gets crazy in BTTF2 when he's chasing Marty down the tunnel)

Not so sure about Lea Thompson.
