Hopefully so! I personally dont see them doing anything for a couple of hashtags under irrelevant stuff, but who knows.

Since the BR is coming out in a month, when do you see them announcing it if they release it?

My bet is they might release a Digital version of 'Extended Cut' with most of Snyder shot scenes put back in after a month of BR release of the theatrical cut. As for the Original Snyder's version of JL, I don't know.

Personally I don't see them releasing it all. Snyder's movie was a different and direction then what they wanted to go with. This might be a movie that'll sit for 10-15 years.

Maybe they rethought their course correction. The movie bombed financially, the core fans thought it sucked, it got bad reviews from critics anyway... I can totally see them deciding they liked it better when we were making money hand over fist and had a very passionate and loyal fanbase who would fight tooth and nail for them.

Plus, since JL's failure Tsujihara was quoted as saying they shouldn't copy Marvel and instead do what they've always done.

I guess it depends on how much the narrative of the movie changed with Johns/Whedon/Studio intervention; whatever extended cut we get will probably not contradict anything established in JL for the ongoing universe narrative...which again, should be easy, since the movie we got other than bringing Superman back to life and introducing new characters didn't do much to move the story forward.

It's kinda like they made it as un-impactfull as possible on purpose.

If Zack's cut had anything that directly contradicts the end result of what we saw, I doubt we'll see it.

I think we would even if it did. The BVS extended cut contradicted plenty of stuff in the TC

Yeah, it expanded and explained things, but it didn't outright contradict anything...

Ultimate Cut just added to the theatrical Cut, it didn't contradict anything.

They changed what clark was watching on TV in this scene.

In Africa, when he flew in, he blew up two drones before the CIA was able to blow up the whole African village. In the TC there was no attemted drone bombing of the African village from the CIA. Those are two instances that come to mind. Those aren't just additions to scenes, they're altered, repurposed and they do contradict.

We f***ing need the SnyderCut, period. Even this mock up was better than what we got in the cinemas.

So Aquaman had a test screening with what 10 months before the movie is released? And it already is quite polished with many CGI scenes done. Snyder left JL 6 months before. I'd say he had his edit locked, color grading done, most VFX and sound mixing and score done too.

*Sighs*

I wouldn't say the score was done, and I don't think the VFX was complete. Snyder loves to use pre-vis, so I think the cut he showed to the execs was still rough, but yes, more or less he had his cut of the movie locked.

:funny:

In the movie when Wonder Woman fight the terrorists in that Courthouse? there are 4 or 5 guys in there with guns (not counting the leader with the bomb) but she only take out three. Missing is Wonder Woman leg sweeping one of the guys seen the the theater trailers. The timer on the bomb seems odd too. In the trailers it also show the building blowing up, that is not in the movie. WB & Joss Whedon must have changed the whole part?

Yep. I think she was originally going to fail.

Ehhhhh I still don't think the bomb went off in the original.
I think that explosion happened when she did her bracelet move?

What I heard was a bomb went off, but no one died. She saved a bunch of people, but learnt that she is not enough, going with the theme of "You cant save the world alone etc etc".

Also....her bracelet thing is enough to hurt someone like Superman....so using it on a normal human seems a bit excessive, don't you think....??? :woot:

She normally crushes puny humans with her superior strength like their ants but no one has a problem with that...

Oh, but let's have Bats or Supes use what may seem like excessive force.... :o

I just rewatched that scene a few hours ago and thought the same thing!

WW's power levels being inconsistent is nothing new, but it's annoying. Her bracelet blast was enough to throw both Doomsday and Steppenwolf around, so that human and the whole side of the building are destroyed, and the cops outside crushed by rubble.

The guy who belts WW in the head with his assault rifle's stock... it moves her head a only a little, but even that amount's too much (considering she can take punches from Superman, Doomsday etc). It should have shattered against her and she give no reaction at all.

I mean, they don't anger me or anything, but stuff like that annoys me.

They portrayed her super-speed really well when she saves all those people from gunfire, though.

Yeap, it just makes me scratch my head, because they've been so good at showing Superman power levels in a consistent way (they show to be increasing with time, but still in a consistent way), yet with Diana is up and down and up and down again...

Concept art in the back that kinda looks like Darkseid :

Original pic from.....??

EDIT: There's not doubt in my mind that there's at least early concept art of Darkseid and Apokolips, not at all.

Leave it to the folks at Warner Bros to think that it was a great idea to cut out such epic shots of Batman and Superman respectively.
