This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]456645[/split]
Spider-Man is the least interesting hero. Thor is fantastical and brings you to new worlds and to see and has so much potential for intergalactic and fantasy advenures. He also has earth adventures make the stakes so much higher and epic with what he can bring on earth as well with villains he can fight.Yeah what is more hyped up right now DOFP or ASM2? Avengers 2? Amazing Spider-Man 2 likely falls at the bottom of the hype list. And as huge as Raimi's Spider-Man movies were, they weren't as huge as TDK movies.
Glorious Godfrey arrived on Earth and assumed the human guise of G. Gordon Godfrey. Using his powers of mental persuasion, he insinuated himself into the public consciousness as a civil rights advocate. Godfrey's rhetoric encouraged self-reliance, claiming that mankind's dependency upon super-heroes had made them weak. His influence quickly spread across the nation, and before long, large portions of the country's population began to violently rebel against the super-hero community.
Doctor Bedlam's contributions towards Operation: Humiliation relied upon destroying the confidence of individual heroes. Towards this end, he downloaded his own consciousness into an artificial clone automaton known as Macro-Man. Macro-Man appeared in Billy Batson's hometown as a three-story high super-villain. Billy transformed into Captain Marvel and fought with Macro-Man in a battle that resulted in the latter's apparent death. Believing that he had in fact killed another human being, Billy vowed to never become Captain Marvel again. In reality, Darkseid had orchestrated the destruction of the Macro-Man on his own, with the intention of destroying Captain Marvel's faith in himself. The plan briefly worked, but before long, Billy realized the importance of heroes in the world, transformed back into Captain Marvel, figured out the truth about Macro-Man's demise, and returned to active duty.
The Macro-Man incident made instant headlines and the news served only to enflame national tension. G. Gordon Godfrey used this opportunity to promote even further aggression upon the populace and before long, citizens were forming lynch mobs and hunting down active heroes with the intent of destroying them.
The violence became so intense, that President Ronald Reagan drafted an executive order, barring all super-human individuals from using their powers or even wearing their costumes. However, this action only served to hinder law-abiding heroes, leaving the super-villain community free to commit acts of violence without fear of reprisal.
The mystic hero known as Doctor Fate recognized that chaos was overtaking the country, and in order to maintain the cosmic balance, he began recruiting several heroes to his cause. These heroes successfully exposed G. Gordon Godfrey for the villain that he was and freed the minds of those under his thrall.
I'd expect snyder to get the first crack at jl; whether he does another one and finishes the man of steel trilogy is another story. I'd have to think that he'd probably get burnt out after jl; del toro with an off world concept could be pretty cool for jl 2.Man oh man! Just look at the scale of this movie! This is what Justice League needs to be. It needs to be EPIC! And that tagline, pretty much a call to arms for WB.

After watching that, who'd you rather direct JL? Snyder or del Toro?

I disagree with this. I have a very mixed reaction over that movie. I love Fassbender/Magneto, I liked McAvoy/Xavier & Lawrence but the rest of the movie just irritated me. I'll take the Spider-Man movies over that any day. X-Men 2 is a different story though and I have high hopes for the new one.Spider-Man is the least interesting hero. Spiderman is just kinda boring to me. I use to like his team up as a kid but he doesn't hold my interest anymore and has boring villains.
Venom is the only Spiderman story I have interest in.
X-men 1st class easily tops any Spiderman movie ever made.
Ill take X-men over Spiderman in any movie.
Pacific Rim looks cool visually, for a popcorn flick. Certainly looks better than Transformers but same kind of concept. Huge scale action, zero substance really. Just a fun time. Ill stick with Snyder.Man oh man! Just look at the scale of this movie! This is what Justice League needs to be. It needs to be EPIC! And that tagline, pretty much a call to arms for WB.

I'd be thrilled. How does everybody feel if Zack Snyder and David Goyer took over the DCU for WB?

Goyer wrote all 3 Blade movies, Del Toro didn't write that. Guillermo directed the second movie.Del Toro writes. He wrote Hellboy 1 & 2. I think he wrote the first 2 Blades. Pans Lab. He need Darren for Batman though.
