Damn! That made me actually LOL!!:D:up:

B.U.M. many people are excited about the upcoming JLA relaunch and it has a very good writer attached to it. Go to the last 3 pages of this thread to get a glimpse of the preview Wizard put out.

Go for it man. I'm definatly gonna buy it.

hopefuly i can read it without being completely lost

Well, if you have any questions, you can just ask us. Do you know about the recent events of Infinate Crisis?

You won't be. :)

It's all OYL so everyone else will be as confused as you are.

i've read nothing of dc. but ive heard about superman punching someones head off and people getting ripped in half.

Yeah..The head punch was an eye poke and it was Black Adam. *Unless it was a reference to Superboy or I missed something*

The person in half was Adam too. :) And THAT happened in 52.

Well, I wont go into it. It's far too confusing to talk about especially if you've never read any DC. All you need to know is, that during the recent Crisis, the Trinity, That's Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, had a bit of a falling out. The result, was the League ultimately disbanded. (The Watchtower getting blown up and everybody not trusting each other helped though.) All of DC's continuity jumped ahead one year after the Crisis was over. And now Wonder Woman, Supes, and Bats are attempting to put the League back together, now that everybodys not being *****e bags that is.

I would suggest a few really good reads like Identity Crisis and JLA: Crisis of Conscience to really get you up to speed on just why the League disbanded. (Not essential, but if your interested, they are damn good.)

Stop being an ass. its people like you that drive new fans away from reading comics.

ANYWAY, buy it. If you like it pick up the series. If you dont, well try something else.

It's like a clean slate. There's been a year where some stuff happened, (Which can be found in the series 52 which is a weekly book which explains what happened during this missing year. Again, not essential, but good and if you're willing to check it out, it's there.) It's like the perfect jumping on point for everything in DC, because everything is starting fresh.

Just when I thought you had become a decent poster.

What in God's name would have made you think that?

I'm all over this like white on Will Smith.

so superman/batman jumped ahead a year?

Yeah, starting with Issue 27 it will.
