Will Gerard (Cage) is happily married to beautiful musician Laura, played by January Jones.

After a late night attack leaves his wife seriously wounded in hospital, the distraught teacher is approached by a mysterious stranger, played by Guy Pearce, who offers to settle the score on Will's behalf and save Laura the pain of a trial.

As emotions are running high, Will accepts the offer.

But he soon learns that revenge comes at a very high price.

Guy Pearce is amazing in that trailer. Very intimidating and it's clear he's making Cage step it up a bit too. I really love their interplay here.

My friend saw it last night and he said it was great. Cage gave a great performance and the movie itself was very tense.
