Beautiful, powerful, and enigmatic, Lena arrives in National City on the heels of brother Lex’s incarceration (holy Batman v. Superman continuity!) hoping for a fresh start. Lena has taken over as LenaLuthorCEO of her family’s billion-dollar-tech company, Luthor Corp, which has been tarnished by Lex’s evil infamy. Her goal? To re-brand the empire as a force for good. Lena wants to be seen as her own person, separate from her brother. Kara is drawn into Lena’s sphere and must determine if she is friend or foe.

I can see it. She was on that Smallville type King Arthur show and played it's equivalent of Lex.

Just looking at pictures of her, she physically reminds me of Smallville's version of the character, Tess Mercer, so I think it'll be interesting to see what they do with her and if there are any similarities between her version of the character and Cassidy Freeman's.

Cool. She looks the part of a Luther, except with the hair and all...

I wonder if she'll be stepping into Lords ambiguous character shoes, as the one who does good or or bad according to their own morality, and can be friend or enemy depending on the stakes.

Personally, I'd rather have a Luther who wasn't quite evil, but just selfishly ambitious and willing step deep into grey areas.

That is the one....it was actually one I enjoyed. Most of them are simply the same story with different names of characters and there is like 5 actresses and actors that play in all of them. This one was actually different.

That would be neat. Similar to Kara's red kryptonite bar scene. But I don't think they should or would do too many in relation to MoS or BvS. I think Supergirl is firmly in the Donner-verse. In the first ep, James mentions how both Clark and Kara made the same debut - as in saving a plane.

In the Snyder-verse, we didn't get that. The first time he's really seen is during the destruction of Metropolis.

That is what I love about all of this.....there is absolutely no clue. She did not give off ANY KIND OF VIBES AT ALL in this first episode as far as totally knowing one way or the other....but she did kind of give me the heebie jeebies though, that is for sure.
