Supergirl Katie McGrath IS Lena Luthor!

Oh she was on Slasher, she was super annoying on it mind maybe that's a good thing for Lena Luthor

 

Oh, she played that assistant who had a horrible death because of those damn kids in Jurassic World.

 

Oh yeah that was her, man that film was awful haha

 

I can see it. She was on that Smallville type King Arthur show and played it's equivalent of Lex.

 

Not a bad choice.

 

Just looking at pictures of her, she physically reminds me of Smallville's version of the character, Tess Mercer, so I think it'll be interesting to see what they do with her and if there are any similarities between her version of the character and Cassidy Freeman's.

 

Damnit they got me. I am totally watching the next season. No more waffling. Have loved her since Merlin.

The one where she is like the nanny of those kids who come from money. The one with Roger Moore?

 

Cool. She looks the part of a Luther, except with the hair and all...

I wonder if she'll be stepping into Lords ambiguous character shoes, as the one who does good or or bad according to their own morality, and can be friend or enemy depending on the stakes.

Personally, I'd rather have a Luther who wasn't quite evil, but just selfishly ambitious and willing step deep into grey areas.

I think she'll play well against Supergirl.

Tell you one thing I'll say about Katie she does a phenomenal American accent.

 

Liked her on Merlin, will be interesting to see what direction they take the character.

 

I guess no-one wants Lena Luthor with an Irish accent?

 

Is she going to send Kara some peach tea?

 

Only if we get a Lex with an Australian accent and a gorgeous flowing mane/beard of red hair.

 

I would love to see Lena drinking some (real) peach tea just as a cool nod to bvs.

 

That would be neat. Similar to Kara's red kryptonite bar scene. But I don't think they should or would do too many in relation to MoS or BvS. I think Supergirl is firmly in the Donner-verse. In the first ep, James mentions how both Clark and Kara made the same debut - as in saving a plane.

In the Snyder-verse, we didn't get that. The first time he's really seen is during the destruction of Metropolis.

And now thinking about the Snyder-verse, we need a New 52 Supergirl in the movies. Please!

 

No hers will just be apple juice instead.

 

Weird thing is she could have played Lois too. Though Lena will probably be around more.

 

I just have one thing to say. She is hot AF.
