They managed to hold off longer than I imagined.

I've had some decent pickups in KB over the years. Not surprisingly, not many as of late.

They've seemed like they've been closing down for the past 2 years there are 2 in malls near me any stand alone store closed a while back

There goes a piece of my childhood (Most of my MOTU were from KB stores) and where I got most of my Toy Biz MLs... (and My MOTU 200X) Farewell old friend...

The one in my town closed years 5 years ago, so i'm not surprised. But hey thats what happens to a business that sold toys for way to much, and still had stock from the early 90s of the shelf even though it was 2008.

same thing happened with stores like suncoast and sam goody. why those stores don't even attempt to have deals to compete with walmart/target/t.r.u. i have no idea.

if you have a kb around you,the entire store is atleast 30% off
most are carrying dcuc and the newest spiderman wave
grab some old ironman armors too

They can't. Big box chains like walmart/target/t.r.u. can buy enough volume from vendors to be able to shave off a few points and sell them at or lower than the MSRP. A mall boutique store like KB could never move enough and has to sell a bit higher than MSRP.

well then they should have worked out a better plan... if everything is $5 more, no one is going to shop there. thus running your buisness in the ground.

I'da paid five bucks more for stuff if It was there.....I mean, not if I could find it at WM or TRU....but if there were KBs here they'd be my thrid stop

It ususally was my first or second stop... There used to be one near campus, so I'd go early in the morning and carry around KB bags all day... Sometimes I'd open the MLs to take out the comics to read in class... I love that New action figure scent...

I still can't understand how a company like this...with all this stores always full and the cashiers (at least here) always ask \ing customers to buy at least 3 products, Can be broke..... No idea.

They have been closing stores here (Pueto Rico) for a few years now, but man, all the store that are still open; they are packed always!

The KB next to my home have almost a 70% in all the RC in stock...

No, the one I want isn't at KB. I'd have to go to KB to see what they had before I made my final decision. Toys'R'Us closed near me and they didn't have any RC boats that I liked. I'm picky. Thanks, though.
