Jokes aside my buddy did some P.A. work on this film. He said Keanu is going to be intense in this. He got to meet him, Adrienne Palicki and Daniel Bernhardt they where all really cool people, and Palicki especially is an incredibly nice person.

You might look at a Keanu Reeves action vehicle called John Wick and write it off. You'd be wrong. I can't say a whole lot here - embargoes and all that jazz - but John Wick is worth seeing, and if you're going to be at Fantastic Fest next week you should slot it into your schedule. Keanu is a retired hitman who is pulled back into the world of the mob for one last mission of righteous vengeance, and he shoots so many people in the head you'll lose track. The film is the directorial debut of Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, absolutely legendary stunt guys who worked with Keanu on The Matrix. These are two dudes who know action inside and out, and John Wick gives them a chance to prove it.

So yeah, the title sucks and this poster isn't exactly setting the world on fire, but keep John Wick in mind. You'll thank me later.

Trailer is alright. I don't have much faith in a screenplay by Derek Kolstad. Feels like a project the studio handed to Chad Stahelski to see how he can handle a feature.

Me and my friend used to have a running joke about how often the "They killed his partner, now he wants revenge!" plot for cop thrillers was used in the 80's, and finally the dog punchline comes to pass!

The action looks fantastic which is all I care about with a film like this, but I have to say Keanu actually looks a little less stiff than usual, like he's having more fun than he has with any role for a while, I'm in!
