He clearly just likes to stick to what he likes without too much experimentation away from the blues, so I can see why he didn't really appreciate Sgt Peppers as it was very much an experimental album that left that more classic rock/blues of earlier Beatles.

Doesn't change the fact that I love that album, haha.
