He mentions the studio is telling the cast and everyone else to spread the word that this is the last film but behind the scenes people are talking more films. Also he said something about he was approached to have the Beast make an appearance in the upcoming Fantastic Four sequel. :)

Edit: Forgot to mention this was on TV. Good Day LA this morning. :)

I'm sure it'd be a cameo or small supporting role. I'd love to see The Thing and the Beast get in a spat.

I think it would be cool to make the link that these are marvel characters living in the same universe. It would be cool to even have a team-up one of these days. I know it's a reach, but one can dream.

I hope it does happen. It'd be nice surprise as we didn't see too much of The Beast in X3 as far as dialogue.

A meeting of the minds type of scene where Reed asks hank for help on a problem.:O

Probably Hank and Reed discussing something scientific. Also Hank might confirm that they aren't mutants now.

:thing: :doom: :thing:

Yours is the first post that gives the idea some merit; making the distinctio between mutants & what the FF have become.

Although it's funny that the FF are embraced & celebrated by the public while mutants are shunned, when they were born the way they are.

Crossovers aren't too far off in the comicbook-movie universe...I think that would be cool...wasn't the F4 building supposed to have been seen in Spidey 2 in the background...it was scrapped last minute tho...maybe spidey 3 :)

I wonder if the "chamber" in the FF film might interest Hank somehow reverting what the "cure caused" in X3. Who knows where they can go. The point is they are two characters Reed & Hank that would be interesting to watch and again I'd love to see The Thing messing around with Hank.

I'm not sure how that'd work with Sony & Fox. Actually Fox should be happy if they did do that.

using the F4 building in the background before F4 actually got released would not have been a contractual issue and was entirely up to marvel sony and rami...the logo hadn't been established yet, and no characters would have been used

The only problem is the casting of Reed and Sue. I just can't embrace the characters, the way I have with the x-men. When I watch FF, I'm just waiting for Alba to bust out in a bikini and start swimming with Dolphins.

Fox owns the movie rights to the likeness, name, etc...to the FF. However it would still be in Fox's best interest for Spiderman 3 to have a promo/freebie FF plug.

I would love that if Beast made a cameo in FF2.
More movies should have little small tidbits or cameos in them, namely Spider-Man franchise.

I'd love to see Spider-Man at least swing past the Baxter Building.

I want Spiderman to be at a conflict with the Punisher against a common foe like Kingpin. Where Spiderman not only has to fight off the villain but at the same time prevent the Punisher from killing someone...while again at the same time needing his help. They wouldn't need to show any killing or murders etc...The Punisher reputation would be enough for Spidey to deal with as a small sub-plot. Nothing that takes over the film.

No it wouldn't. You don't promote the competition.

I guess you don't get it. I said it would be in Fox's best interest if Spiderman 3 had a Fantastic Four plug/cameo. Not in Sony's.

Yes, I read your post.

an X-Men/Spiderman crossover would be cool, But chances of that happening? Never.
