In the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler a career diplomat lands in a high-profile job for which she was not suited for, with tectonic implications for her marriage and her political future.

Premiers tomorrow, and reviews have mostly been positive, looking forward to this one

3 episodes in and I'm hooked, Russell and Sewell work really well together

Finished last night, sharp, witty dialogue, extremely fast-paced political wrangling, and superb acting, Keri Russell being great as usual, this was made for me..

They were wrong to end it on a cliffhanger though

Just checking out the first episode now.

I wonder if that throwaway line "needs a haircut" is an inside joke related to Felicity?:cheeky:

I was initially just going to check this show out for Keri as it didn't sound like something I'd be interested in, but now I'm 4 episodes in and I'm hooked.
I good mix of mystery, intrigue and just a little bid of humor and the casting is pretty much perfect across the board.
Looking forward to finishing the rest of the episodes over the next couple of days.:coolguy:

It took a couple of episodes to gel but by episode 3 I was hooked. Kerri is really great in this and McKean is great as the president.

Three episodes in and loving it. Russell and Sewell are fantastic. Also really loving Gyasi.

Although, with Rory Kinnear playing the Prime Minister, I keep expecting someone to blackmail him into plowing a pig. :hehe:

Excellent first season. Russell and Sewell are the biggest highlights, but I also though Gyasi, Ali Ahn, Ato Essandoh and T’Nia Miller were excellent. Miller especially stood out in her few episodes, because the only thing I’ve seen her in before was Bly Manor and she couldn’t have been more different here.

Bring on season 2! Like… now.

Loved this show and I'm glad to see such a quick renewal.

The downside for shows like this is the seasons are so short (I watched season 1 in just 2 days) and then we have to wait a year, or even 2 years, before we get more.

Wow what an awesome little surprise this ended up being. Binging this and Rabbit Hole was a lot of fun for me personally and I'm really glad I gave both shows a chance, because I loved them both.

Keri Russell is absolutely fantastic in this and deserves an Emmy nomination for her performance, because as great as the rest of the supporting cast is she definitely stood out most IMO.

It's great seeing Rufus Sewell have so much fun in a role again too.
