It's already been public knowledge that Chris Pratt is a christian. But it's crazy seeing the backlash that he got for tweeting that he's praying for Kevin Smith.

I don't post on twitter, but the responses Pratt was getting prompted me to say something. Disgusting to use him hoping a man WHO NEARLY DIED is okay as their sopabox war against religion.
Disgusting
Exactly my sentiment. I could (usually) care less about people's saying thoughts and prayers because it's at least an acknowledgement of thought but when they are someone who can actually do something like a politician (with the ability to enact or change laws for the better), that's when it truly bothers me.I'm all for tearing "thoughts and prayers" politicians to shreds, but what the hell are people applying it to this for? Has Pratt had endless opportunities to improve Kevin Smith's heart health over the years, only to act shocked when the worst happens?
