LOGLINE: Psychological thriller revolves around a pair of detectives who handle stalking incidents for the Threat Management Unit of the LAPD.

Along with Gotham and How to get away with murder this is the new show I'm most interested in this fall, big fan of the two leads.

As a Nikita fan, I'm always rooting for Maggie Q, but this just sounds like another generic procedural to me. Hope to be wrong.

Meh. Bring back Without A Trace.

Williamson doesn't seem the type to be too straight forward with any genre he tackles, I just hope they have more planned than a case of the week format and that it's not as overblown as The Following.

Wasn't that about missing people not stalkers?

I feel like The Following's fate was kind of sealed in that regard when they said the show would be about a serial killer leading a cult of serial killers from prison. I mean, I enjoy the show (even if alot of aspects could be better executed), but it is what it is.

I feel like this will be more grounded just due to, I would imagine, there being a significantly larger amount of stalking cases in this country than there are huge, murderous cults.

It was. CBS has done spinoffs for CSI, NCIS and Criminal Minds and Without A Trace was once a huge show for them before they moved it to Sundays. Easily could've done a spinoff of WaT. It was a procedural but also serialized elements to add to it and it over took ER in the ratings.

"Threat Management Unit" isn't the most sexy name for TV. Dealing with stalkers each week could get boring and just creepy. With missing people there was some variety and could create interesting episodes.

Ugh, yeah, I really don't care for The Following. That's another reason I'm keeping my expectations low for this.

I like what Williamson does with TV, I think this will be good.

The potential to be over the top was there for sure but I think it could have been streamlined into something more restrained and less campy than it is if they'd skipped the almost onipotent way they have written Joe. Like you I enjoy it on it's terms though.

I agree with that, the fact there will be more stories and ideas they can pull out of reality will keep it as a less theatrical show than The Following I imagine.

Maybe the fact they had 3 CSI shows made them shy away from having two franchises on the network? Usually if they can mine more out of a proven hit formula they do.

I don't know much about stalkers so I am not sure exactly what approach they will take to the cases, whether it'll be very dry and gritty, or a bit more stylized. I think it's a different aspect for a procedural to tackle and could be good, especially given the two leads.

The fact it's on CBS means it will most likely be less outlandish than The Following, I just hope Williamson is going more Person of Interest than Blue Bloods with it.

Wednesdays at 10, this fall.

As long as this doesn't have Natalie Zea then we should be good. :p

More or less typical procedural stuff, but it looks good.

Damn you CBS! I thought I quit you since you cancelled TCO but noooo, just gotta have replace SMG with MQ.

This looks awesome, I'm down for anything with McDermott in it.

Along with Gotham this trailer has me the most interested out of the new shows, Maggie Q looks excellent in this and McDermott is getting to be a little lighter than he has been in his last couple of roles.

Obviously Maggie's character was a stalking victim in the past and I wouldn't be surprised to see that he's still out there and it becomes an overarching plot for the series, along with whatever caused McDermott to leave New York.

Quitting CBS was never an option for me as long as Person of Interest is still around, but at the very least I can say that, for the first season in awhile, I'm washing my hands of CBS comedy. HIMYM is over, they cancelled The Crazy Ones and they didn't pick up HIMYD, so... I'm out.

Two and a Half Men ending is just the icing on the cake. :o

Nikita was a former stalkee and Dylan was a former stalker... I can see it now.

TV Line: Fall TV First Impression

I've been watching Big Brother for over a week now, and I find it strange that I've really seen no promos for this. Maybe it being a 10 PM show means a bulk of their promos air at 10? I don't know...
