I like it so far, though I shouldn't be watching the show since it probably gives me nightmares :csad:. I like the concept and many of the actors so I will toughen it up.
I must be too numb, shows like this never scare me or give me bad dreams. :(

My wife and I are hooked so far. Can't wait for tomorrow's episode!

One thing though (If I must complain) is I am not a huge fan of the "everyone could work for this one dude" story line. I think it leaves it TO wide open. I don't know, only two episodes in so we will see where it goes.

Ever since I started to watch crime procedurals back in like 2000/01, I've never gotten bad dreams from these shows. The last thing that I can think of that caused bad dreams was maybe Jurassic Park, but that was as a little kid.

I had a bad time looking out windows at night after seeing the original Amityville Horror movie at the drive in. I was 11 when I went and was terrified of seeing glowing red eyes looking back at me through the windows, lol. :p

These shows don't scare me...but The Following does disturb me. So, I ended up taking it off my Favorites on Hulu. There's enough sick crap on the news...I don't feel like I need to be entertained by it too...

Anybody else get the feeling that
the fire guys wife is a part of the cult?

Yeah, I got that feeling too because of the reaction the fire guy had while he stabbed her in the flash back. Got to say, I didn't see the real twist in the end coming. That's just plain messed up. I love how this series gets a pure reaction from me, not a lot can do that these days. And it seems like I was slightly off last week, pretty sure they're both bisexual and it was latent or heteroflexible, though Paul could have always been bi or gay and he just didn't want the others to know he was in that scene while Will seems a lot more surprised by it.

Calling it now...

Iceman is a part of the cult and when Kev Bacon left the room he killed the agent.

Another great one. Loved the ending, sad to see [blackout]younger black agent[/blackout] go. I kinda thought Paul was going to [blackout]rape the girl, as if to prove to himself that he's straight[/blackout]. Maybe that's too dark for FOX, though...

I thought Paul was gonna do that too. He kind of reminds me of Dahmer, but with a different target.

What do you know? One of the first main/recurring characters they kill off is the black guy. Seems typical for the horror/thriller genre.

[BLACKOUT]at the very least he didn't apply pressure per Bacons instructions :oldrazz:[/BLACKOUT]
At that point, he was just too far gone for that to make much of a difference. Cut was too deep and he'd already lost a lot of blood before they got in there to help.

another excellent episode! just when you think you've got certain characters figured out, they surprise you with more :awesome:

A pretty good episode with some twists that I didn't see coming. Looks like they got the initial 6 cult members figured out, but it seems there are others that aren't in that initial group and have their own side plans from Carroll. An improvement over last week, where there didn't seem to be as many surprising things.

Why the frig does Billy Brown have to die in every darn TV show he is in? Can't anyone let him last more than a few episodes? :( Squeekness was not pleased by this. :argh:

As soon as I saw that he wasn't in the main cast credits, I pretty much assumed he wouldn't be long for this world.

Yeah, I was half expecting him to be the FBI follower. Iceman and cult lady are the only real agents left that could fit the bill, right?

Filming the kid's murder training was pretty intense. If he's going to go the route daddy took, I think it would have been better to keep the audience ignorant until it could be a big twist.

I just love how they're letting us get to know the saner side of these characters before showing just how bat s**t insane they are. Quote of the episode was Emma asking Paul if he lost his mind.

Really? I'm loving the flashbacks.
