I was blown away by the premiere last night! This show is so fresh and entertaining. I can't believe they've got these kids fending for themselves!?

I think CBS did well rolling the dice with this show. I thought is was appropriately HILARIOUS to see the majority of kids balling their eyes out at the end of Day 1.

If you guys haven't caught Kid Nation yet, or decided to pass, please give it another look! I'm sure they're still streaming the pilot for free online until next week. So give it a whirl, I think the majority of you will be pleasantly surprised. t:

I saw it last night and I enjoyed it. I don't care what the haters say, it was great entertainment. I felt bad for little Jimmy who decided to leave. These kids are pretty smart, though.

I DVR this show last night. Finally watched it overall I liked it and I know I will probably keep watching it. I am not much into Reality shows but this actually was pretty interesting.

I decided not to watch it simply because it's kids, and just kids. therefore making it somewhat of a kids show.

You're gonna get some of that with EVERY reality show. They can't show RAW human interaction when there are camera crews and lights and all of that. Likewise, watching hidden security footage isn't any fun either. So you take the bad with the good, and in this case I think the good outweighs the bad.

Ok just watched in online. This show is just weird. Awesome, but weird. I love the drama, & the kids crying every 5 seconds was fun watch.

Was an excellent start and I look forward to more episodes of it.
Kids are honest none of the BS like you see in adult reality shows so when they are crying you know its for real not for ratings.

Forgot to add I thought it was classy of the council to give the star to Sophia even after she was *****ing at them for the dirty dishes, showed real class as they knew she was working her ass off to make it work.

Just too contrived for me. They may appear to be fending for themselves, but the minute any situation gets even mildly out of hand, a producer would have no choice but to step in. We just won't see that part of the show.
