i know dude. the turtles were amazing. my mom was a manager at a local toys r us, so i got TONS of turtle stuff. lol, i even went the the "Coming out of their Shells" rock concert. it was glorious.

Actually it got changed to HERO turtles instead back then because of um...political and ethical correctness.

I can safely say I have never seen them changed to HERO turtles. It's always been TMNT for what I saw too.

Hmmmm...You sure that's official? Looks an awful lot like someone took a Lion-O body and made that guy. I've seen people do that all the time. Some of those toy price guides show you how to do it. I think Wizard Magazine even gave instructions or something at one point. Just look fishy to me.

I found the pic on ebay so who knows.... I remember growing up not seeing that figure in stores.... who knows... it may have been a mail order special action figure that you send out with proof of purchase.
