Kids' Movies Are Full of Death

As long as there's no nudity or bad words like "@$$" and "$#!+"in children's movies, I don't see a problem with a few corpses and severed heads.

"...and five animal attacks (A Bug’s Life, The Croods, How to Train Your Dragon, Finding Nemo, Tarzan)."

How do you expect an animal attack to take place in an adult movie that isn't set in the wilderness? These comparisons are stupid.

Animals don't always attack people in the wilderness. Anyway I would have thought that this would be obvious. Heck "dead parents" in Disney movies are practically a cliché unto themselves. Also, killing off the villains. Watch Disney, or DreamWorks, or Pixar, or Miyazaki films. There's PLENTY of death in them.

It looks like TV Tropes is no longer working as a containment website for those people. :o

This is true of children's literature going back centuries. Try reading some of the classic fairy tales. These films are tame compared to those.

True...guys collecting the flesh and blood of women, trolls tearing off people's heads, eye gouging etc. For kids!:woot:

That's because back then it was understood that teaching kids about the bad parts of life is a good idea.
