Man. . .I'm watching those Kirk Alyn serials right now on TCM (Turner Classic Movies) and I find it hilarious. You really can't take these serials seriously. They're just so badly made. lol.

I watched them too. It ain't "Superman The Movie" but it's still fun to watch. I've got my DVR set to record the next 5 eps next week. t:

it was different seeing Kirk Alyn as the Man of Steel... much different than a lot of the other portrayers

I checked out the TMC site and it turns out that TMC will be playing both Superman serials. They will finish this one over the next two weeks ending on Nov 11th and then they start the second Superman serial "Atom Man vs. Superman" on Nov 18th and ending on Dec 9th. t:

That's why Superman: The Movie was so superb, because it was the first time that it had really been done properly.
