maybe you did build it up too much, maybe you're not really attracted to girls or at least this girl, either way, the answer is no. kissing is not overrated, it's extremely fun and if you're with a person you're attracted to and you both know what you're doing, it's among the top three activivties one can engage in.

dude I understand. I remember mine. I think the reason you were disapointed is because it was probably akward. You probably felt nervous, and since it was your first kiss, you probably weren't doing it right.

Don't panick, this isn't the end of the world, and all these people making fun of you went through the same exact thing and had the same exact experience, well unless there a really big dork and in that case they never even got a first kiss.

Kissing is great, but if you think that birds are gonna fly out of your ass and start singing the first time you do it, you're mistaken. I do think that some people overrate it in that way, and build up too much anticipation. It's just a physical touch, not God putting magic powers into you and the other person's lips.

Kissing can be a devine sort of feeling, but you cant expect it to be that way the first time around. You probably sucked, like most ppl do their first time, and it takes practice, but once you get good at it, you dont have to worry so much about how to do it and enjoy the actual sensation of it.
