So, has anybody watched them? What are they like?
I've only seen trailers, and my God, aren't they hillarious...

My favorites must be: Snakes On The Train, I Am Omega, Saturday School Musical and Alien vs Hunter.

I plan on living out my life and dying without ever having watched a single one of those turds.

i understand that if you want to start acting that you need to start somewhere.

but there should be a line. who wants to be in those movies?

If you want to start acting, a good way to go is theatre(if you have taken acting lessons). If not theatre and you want to try to jump right into motion pictures then your best bet would be either an Independent film or a horror film(one released in theatres primarily).

I just don't see anyone who starred in those Asylum films going anywhere mainstream.

Oh yeah, as for your question of who wants to be in those movies. Desperate people. :hehe:

I've seen most of Mega Shark. It's hilarious.

I'm always eager to see the stupid titles that they come up with for these movies. Whenever they rip-off a mainstream film, they normally either use some generic term or just change one or two words in the original title. The result is that they usually manage to make it sound so profoundly stupid that it almost makes me want to watch it. Almost. Like "The Day the Earth Stopped." That one is hilarious.

I wonder if we'll be seeing the following films from the Asylum in 2010:

Daycrackers
The Book of Ira
Metal Man 2
The Spy Across the Steet
The A-Squad
Kick-Butt
The Martial Arts Kid
Robin Hood: The Legend
Perry Johnson & The Athenians: The Thunder Thief
The Werewolfman
A Night Terror on Main Street
The Moonlight Saga: Lunar Eclipse
The Sorceror's Assistant
Detestable Me
Pepper
Jonah Curse
Invention
Prince of Asia: The Winds of Change
The Dispensables

I watched half of the War of the Worlds.... :(

I can't stop myself from watching their movies. I'm loving how they're just making movies based on stuff from the public domain now. Like tat terrible Princess from Mars movie, and soon Sherlock Holves vs a steampunk guy and his dinosaur. They even have a 7 voyages of Sinbad coming out.

I have yet to see any of their films and methinks I'm not missing out at all by not seeing any at all.

Anyone saw the Cloverfield rip off? Called Monster.

They need to make a Sherlock Holmes vs War of the Worlds. They could save money by using the cgi robots from their own War of the worlds movie.
