Eren Jaeger (voiced by Yuuki Kaji)

AoT2_10-12-17_009.jpg
Born and raised in the Shiganshina District, since a child he yearns to see the world beyond the wall. The death of his mother during the Titan breach in 845 fostered his strong urge to wipe out the Titans, and as a result he joined the 104th Cadet Corps. After three years of rigorous training he graduated ranked fifth in his class.
Initially he wanted to join the Scout Regiment rather than the Cadet Corps due to his fascination of venturing beyond the wall and his hatred of Titans. While he is mentally strong and highly motivated, there lies a danger where his anger can throw him into a blinding fit of rage.

AoT2_10-12-17_010.jpg
Mikasa Ackerman (voiced by Yui Ishikawa)
i

A rare descendant of Asian blood, when she was a child Eren saved her life when her parents were killed by thieves. Since then she has been inseparable from Eren and joined the 104th Cadet Corps with him, where her hidden talents flourished and she graduated top of their class.
Keeping Eren safe means everything to her as he is her final remaining family. Normally level-headed and composed even in critical situations, she has lost control of herself in situations where Eren is involved.

Armin Arlert (voiced by Marina Inoue)

Born and raised in the Shiganshina District, he is a childhood friend to both Eren and Mikasa and has a deep fascination of the world beyond the wall. He joins the 104th Cadet Corps, and despite his concerns over his physical strenght, his effort allows him to endure the three years of rigorous training. Although he didn’t graduate in the top percentile, he earned top marks in his coursework.
Timid and shy, he feels shameful of himself for always being protected by Eren and Mikasa. However, his excellent analytical ability and good judgement emerge and show his potential as an intellectual soldier.

Levi (voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya)

Lieutenant of the Scout Regiment and leader of the elite Special Operations Squad (also known as the Levi Squad) whose members are hand-picked by Levi himself. Referred to as “Humanity’s Strongest Soldier,” he possesses incredible combat skills and is said to possess the fighting strength of an entire brigade.
He has a rough and neurotic personality, and while he may seem rude he has a strong sense of responsibility and deeply trusts Erwin. He is also an extreme clean freak, and is unsatisfied if the camp is not thoroughly cleaned.

Miche Zacharias (voiced by Kenta Miyake)

Scout Regiment Section Commander, who is the second strongest soldier after Levi and deeply trusts Erwin. He has a keen sense of smell which gives him the ability to detect the proximity of Titans. A taciturn man with the strange habit of sniffing someone when he meets them for the first time and then snorting out a laugh.

Nanaba (voiced by Asami Shimoda)

An experienced and highly skilled soldier even among the elite members of the Scout Regiment. She is able to remain calm and issue precise orders even in emergency situations. She is often in the same squad as Miche and Gelgar, also of the Scout Regiment, and they show excellent coordination in battle.

Gelgar (voiced by Yasuyuki Kase)

An experienced and highly skilled soldier even among the elite members of the Scout Regiment. The experience he built up in battle is evident on the battlefield, and he shows great courage when facing Titans. He is often in the same squad as Miche and Nanaba, also of the Scout Regiment, and they show excellent coordination in battle.

? System
In Town Life, enjoy interacting with characters from the original series. Deepen bonds with individual characters to see their specific side stories and conversations.
Town Life
This is where characters can enjoy the ordinary life in-between the battles. It can be used to develop relationships or, perhaps, to train and prepare for the next expedition.
“Town Life” is a vital part of the game for the character development, as it does not only include the progression of the main story, but is also the place to evolve relationships with your companions through conversations and common missions, explore side stories and build up your fighting strength.

Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan 2 adds Predator Mode
Published 3 days ago. 15 comments.

Free update available today.

Attack-on-Titan-2_03-29-18.jpg

A free update for Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan 2 game released today adds a new multiplayer “Predator Mode.”

Here is an overview of the mode, via the game’s official website:
Predator Mode
In Predator Mode, you compete for points as you control a Titan.
You score points by attacking humans and destroying structures. Devouring humans is the way to gain high scores, so that should be your primary focus.
—Levi, on attack!
You won’t just be up against defenseless morsels. Powerful, armed soldiers will show themselves, too. Be careful about running into them, because Titan eliminations at the hand of soldiers will cost you points. When targeted by a soldier, you can divert attention by attacking another Titan.

Attack on Titan 2 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam in North America and Europe, and for PlayStation 4, Switch, PS Vita, and PC via Steam in Japan.

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle announced for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC [Update]
Published 1 day ago. 19 comments.
Expanded with characters and missions from season three.

AoT2FB-Ann_03-13-19.jpg

Koei Tecmo has announced Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. It will launch on July 4 in Japan, and on July 5 in North America and Europe.

For players who already own Attack on Titan 2, Koei Tecmo will also release a “Final Battle Upgrade Pack” as paid downloadable content.

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle is an expansion to the 2018-released Attack on Titan 2, featuring characters and missions from season three for a new total of over 40 playable characters, original episodes to expand the story, and new weapons such as the “Thunder Spear.”

The game also includes a “Wall Reclamation Mode,” in which players form their own squad to reclaim territory from the Titans, as well as an anti-personnel battle experience where players take on ODM-equipped killers in aerial battles.

Watch the announcement trailer below.

Thanks, Crunchyroll.

Update 03/14/19 at 9:05 a.m.: Here is the official press release from Koei Tecmo:

The new gaming experience follows Attack on Titan’s Season 3 adventure through the actions of specific characters; capturing all of the conflict of the popular anime series like never before.

Taking place throughout Attack on Titan Season 3’s timeline, Final Battle’s Story mode plays through selected characters’ points of view with major heroes active in Season 3 – now playable for the first time – boosting the total number of playable characters to over 40. In addition to the content covering all three seasons of the popular anime series, developers will also include original episodes to create a more fulfilling Attack on Titanexperience.

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle will feature two new gameplay experiences: A frenetic anti-personnel combat feature using anti-personnel omni directional mobility gear and an all-new wall reclamation mode focused on recovering outside territories. Here, players will have an ability to choose a leader of their squad, pick out the members they want to include – even members who were never together in the original work, and set out to reclaim the lands from the Titans. Thunder Spears will also be equipped for battle for the first time, allowing the take down of the Armored Titan when a normal blade just won’t cut it.

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle is being developed by Omega Force, and will be available July 5, 2019 for the PlayStation 4 Computer Entertainment System, Nintendo Switch, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, and digitally on Windows PC via Steam.

The title will be made available for digital purchase as an Upgrade Pack to fans who already own Attack on Titan 2, and it will also be available for purchase as special digital or physical bundle; combining the experience of Attack on Titan 2 alongside the new Season 3 content in one unique package.

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle details Territory Recovery Mode, new gear, pre-order bonus costumes, more
Published 1 day ago. 8 comments.
Become a commander.

Attack-on-Titan-2-Final-Battle_04-11-19.jpg

Koei Tecmo has released new information and screenshots of Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle introducing Territory Recovery Mode, new gear, pre-order bonus costumes, and more.

Get the details below, via Koei Tecmo.

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle offers aspiring commanders the chance to create their own corps, and fight to recover the land outside of the walls, in the action-packed Territory Recovery Mode. As players start, they’ll be able to customize their corps’ name and emblem; as well as assign a commander from any of the game’s playable characters – including their custom-made Scout from Attack on Titan 2. Territory Recovery Mode features two rounds. The first is a ‘Base’ phase where players can freely roam around to socialize with allies, use materials to prepare and upgrade equipment, and prepare themselves for the battle ahead. Once that phase is complete, the ‘Outer Campaign’ phase begins; Scouts will venture outside of the walls in this thrilling section in the hopes to claim land back for humanity.

A range of remarkable new gear is provided to Scouts for their battles against titanic foes. The standard ‘Slashing Gear’ returns; where they will equip blades with their ODM to quickly slice body parts, alongside the powerful ‘Shooting Gear’ action, where blades are replaced with guns. Shooting Gear provides the choice between One-Handed Attacks, allowing for easy targeting and evasion of Titan parts in exchange for faster gas consumption and lower damage attacks, or Two-Handed Attacks which deal massive damage while making it harder to evade incoming hits. Scouts are also provided a revolutionary weapon in the fight against the Titans; the Thunder Spear, which sports the greatest power in their arsenal and can completely wipe one out in a single blow.

Scouts eager to join the action are able to pre-order now to get their hands-on bonus content for the ultimate Attack on Titan experience. Those who purchase Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, physically or digitally, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One during the first month of launch will receive the “Queen of Historia” costume for Christa, “Young Male Coat” for Kenny, “Plain Clothes (Underground City)” for Levi, “One-piece Dress” costume for Mikasa, and an early unlock of the playable characters ‘Kenny’ and ‘Zeke’. Pre-orders on Nintendo Switch will start in the coming weeks; stay tuned to the official site and social channels for further information.

Koei Tecmo America also released a fresh asset batch today to showcase these exciting gameplay features, as well as a first look at five new playable characters; Scout Regiment member, Nifa, 104th Training Corps cadet, Floch, First Interior Squad Captain, Kenny Ackerman, First Interior Squad member, Traute, and a mysterious man, Zeke–which might know more to the mystery behind the walls than he lets on.

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on July 4 in Japan, and on July 5 in North America and Europe.
