Hello. New to the boards I want to show you my improvements on the Koto TDK Statue.

I fell in love with the Promo pics but the statue itself was... well... not too accurate. I decided to renew the head, shoulderpad and apposed parts of the cape and the Whole upper body. Why?

The Head was too... asian / Manga styled.

The blueish Paintjob was disturbing as well.

The plates on the upper torso were wrong - chest plates were too big by far, abdomen plates are too small and not in shape - and because of the chest plates they were not right in position. So i dremmeled off the whole front and made it new.
So here are a few WIP Shots.

After some corrections at the head... and a progressed paintjob...
here is the actual state:

It's getting better and better now. Just still a few tiny corrections, then it's done.

That is a big compliment, thank you!! Far too kind. I adore HT for their work, although I do not collect "dolls".

You did an amazing job on that, and it's definitely more accurate than the original, yet I kinda like the original more...just my preference, though. Your custom is still incredible work. Wish I had that kind of knack for sculpting and painting etc.

Hello!

It is time again to show up a new kit modification:
Kotobukiya did a good job on most parts of the Batman TDK "Original Suit" kit, but I definately did not like the head and the flood light he was perching on.

So I made a complete new head and modified the pose so now he can perch on a flat building.
I made one of wood and apoxie sculpt... and then I gave a new paintjob to Bats, the bluish-shiny one on the original kit is not as authentic as it wish it to be.
So again - here is the result.

Well done - serious improvement on the original. You really capture Bale from BB. I like the pedestal with the logo as well.
Between this, your other Koto redo and your Joker, you have some amazing, truly exclusive, statues.
