Kristen Bell would not be my first choice for Wasp but I could live with her.
Veronica Mars was not a comedy It was drama with some humor so no
question of Kristen's ability to act.

However as I have said before with Joss whedon almost certainly doing It
there Is a decent chance a actress Joss Whedon has worked with could end
up as Wasp,or be considered at least,and If that happens I could see Amy
Acker as 616 version of Wasp,or Dichen lachman as ultimate version.If V Is
cancled there Is a chance of Morena Baccarin being consired.Those are really
the only Whedon Actresses I think should be consired for Wasp.And all three
have better acting abilities than Liv Tyler does.

No, you're right, Pym hit Jan once. People only remember it because so little has been done with him, that that's what he's remembered for. Even other Marvel characters still bring up the one time he hit her...

No, the real Hank did it first. He had a nervous breakdown and that was part of it. He had been really hostile for several issues, then was court martialed and removed from the Avengers by Cap. His plan to get back in the team involved making a robot that only he knew the weakness of and beating it, saving the team. Jan discovered his plan and tried to stop him. Thats when Hank hit her.

Exactly...The severity of the beating was much worse in the Ultimate comics but Hank did in fact hit Jan in the 616 comics.

Ultimates just took it to a far more graphic and extreme place, but the original hit was pretty shocking at the time. Highly unlikely it'll be anywhere near the Avengers movie. At least the first one, anyway.

The ultimate comics stuff gets so much attention because he didn't just hit her he beat her and had ants attack her putting her in the hospital. In the 616 comics he backhanded her ONE time, though it's still something that comes up often whenever it comes to the two characters.

You clearly don't know ANYTHING about the Wasp.

Wasp is not a rough around the edges tom boy...she's a dainty girly girl, who comes from great wealth, and though she starts as ditsy and immature, she eventually comes into her own as an avenger, becoming a confident leader, both on the team, and in the business world as the creator of a successful fashion empire.

Kristen Bell is perfect for the role, as would be Reese Witherspoon (though they'd never spend that much money.)

Michelle Rodriguez would be about as good a fit for the Wasp as Steve Buscema would be for Thor.
