Krrish is a sequel to Koi Mil Gaya and story continues. Rohit and Nisha are married and they have a kid. They both die in a car accident. The kid starts growing up in his grand mother care. As he is growing up he discovers that he has superpowers (in Koi Mil Gaya Jadoo transferred his powers into Rohit, which apparently went to his son). The movie basically shows how he deals with his power and save the world from a villain (Naseeruddin Shah).

Krrish Mehra (Hrithik Roshan) is a man with extraordinary strength, speed and intelligence. He loves the calmness and beauty of natural mountainous and surroundings where he is living. He comes across Priya (Priyanka Chopra), a beautiful girl from Singapore, who has come there for camping and trekking and falls in love with her. Krrish is left heart broken when she finally has to leave for Singapore. When Sonia, Krrish grandmother (Rekha) sees how lonely he has become, she encourages him to go to Singapore and woo Priya back.

Krrish reach Singapore; find it a completely new and fascinating world. He learns fast and adapts to it quickly. He makes new Chinese friends in Singapore and woos Priya. In one of the songs, the atmosphere is that of a carnival where most of the people are wearing masks of different kinds. The song continues into a circus, there a short circuit happens and the tent of the circus catches fire. The circus performers get stranded on top and start screaming for help. Krrish realizes that he can help them. He sees a slightly broken burnt Mask lying on the ground nearby. He dons the mask for hiding his identity and save them in a spectacular manner. This heroic deed makes the ‘Masked Man‘ a hero and a nationwide search is launched for this new hero in Singapore.

Well is very its very similar to superman returns lol just think of this guy as Lois’s kid all grown up (that’s assuming if the rumours of that kid being ck’s is true). Check out the site for more info. Say what you want that guy makes one hell of a nightwing. :)

Oh by the way there’s a prequel, which had a character similar to the nerdy Clark Kent (played by the same actor) The prequel centered on a ******ed kid who was gifted with special powers after helping out an ET alien like creature. Krishh (the sequel) takes place in the future after both his parent die and he’s raised by his grandmother (cough cough Martha kent )

the father (clark kent like)

^ the son (not so nerdy)

What if the rumors of the kid being ck’s turn out to be true? Will Dc Warner make a spin batman beyond like spin off from that kid?

who's the chick in the second pic?

she's pretty hot

That's the Singapore river in the background...Boat Quay if I'm not mistaken..

I dunno why I pointed that out...:(

Priyanka Chopra is hot :p

and Krrish will suck :(
it seems like a mash up of Superman and Batman :o

You can't have a good superhero movie without a supervillain for the hero to fight.

So, who will be the villain in this movie?

Suckass Bollywood productions. I can't wait to laugh my ass off when this load of horse manure opens in competition with Superman Returns.

Say, did you know that Bollywood filmmakers are currently filming a movie that is a mix of "Fight Club" and "West Side Story"?

Aaaaaaargh! I had SO hoped Hrithik was out of the industry, as he has all the thespian qualities of a storefront mannikin. Watching him drag KABHI KHUSHI KHABHIE GHAM to the sea floor every time he was on screen set me to weeping...but on the positive side, acting opposite Sanjay Dutt in MISSION KASHMIR, he made Sanju look like Sir Lawrence Olivier by comparison.

Hahaha, looks so 80's.
Will those goofs ever learn?

I daresay that stylistically (both in terms of filmmaking and culture), India sits behind the U.S. by about 20 years...just as Hong Kong is about 10 years behind. Of course, Hollywood films began their fast descent into the crapper around the mid-'80s, and I'm seeing it happen to Bollywood films now just as it happened to HK movies ten years ago. The echoes are interesting.

"Faster than a speeding tiger!

More powerful than an elephant!

Ablt to leap the Taj Mahal in a single bound!

Is it a swallow? Is it an Indian fighter plane?

It's KRISSH! Fighting the neverending battle for truth, justice, and the Indian Way!"

Is this really the tagline for the movie?
