Kurt Sutter on Punisher: Warzone and why he doesn't want credit.

People are putting words in Sutter's mouth and exaggerating or making stuff up now on other websites. There's a bunch of headlines that say Sutter thinks the movie is lame or sucks, and dismal. He never said anything like that. It's easy to take one sentence out of context and make things appear any way you want.

true that. the cinematical article pissed me off right away... "writer despises new film"? wow, when did he say that? the internet has an amazing way of twisting the truth.

I'm not going to worry about a review of a movie that's not even out yet.

Well, you'll probably start worrying once you see some footage...

How is that even possible for a man to do? dislocate or break, but actually rip the bone off the muscles and tendons and stab someone with it.

If that's in it, I'm walking out of that damn theater and demanding my money back.

It's called extreme pressure. Not to mention, you said rip the bone off the muscles and tendon. Last time I checked those were on/over the bone not the other way around.

If you were to break/snap someone's bone in their arm or leg for example. You can get it with enough pressure to actually stab/break the skin. It's not impossible or even all that ridiculous.

Look at this picture of a compound fracture, very graphic, so don't open it and complain please. Now imagine the protruding bone sticking out more, and the arm being twisted backwards and jabbed into the person.

Depending on how the arm is fractured, I can see it working, and so long as it is done quick and efficiently, without too much emphasis on it, it will come off as brutal, not slapstick.

I don't know. I didn't look at the pic because I get grossed out by real life traumas. I just think it would sound hokey and come across as very cheesy.
As we all said before what works in a comic book doesn't always translate to a different medium.

Running Scared tried to be gritty. Didn't look like that at all to me.

That's the same way I feel about Batman Begins.
