I love almost everything in this movie.

Script, cast, action, storytelling, characters... everything looked excellent.

My rate - 9 out of 10.

Great movie...neva get tired of seeing it.

My opinion of this movie can be judged by my avatar. :cwink:

Seriously, though, Leon is a brilliant movie, and one of the best crime dramas ever. Fantastic performances all around (especially from Portman in arguably the finest debut performance ever pulled off by a child star), with Oldman as one of the most underrated villians ever. I love it.

I'd actually love to see a sequel made that continues Mathilda's story. Entertainment Weekly came up with Mathilda returning to Leon's boss (Danny Aiello) to take over Leon's job and get her first hit. Portman says she'd be open for it if Besson directs it.

Good movie but a little creepy. :o

Well, yeah, a film involving the murder of a young family (including a 4 year old boy) is meant to be a little creepy.

Movies like The Professional don't need any dumb sequels without good scripts, so I would never see it.

Dude, it's hypothetical. Plus, if it had the main character back, and the director, and a good script, would you see it?

No, because the first one is already a masterpiece. It's not another summer blockbuster, it's a real masterpiece.

Yes, it is. So was The Godfather, and that had a sequel.

Look, in all honesty, a sequel probably won't happen. I just mentioned that one would be neat, and Portman did express interest.

Anyway, if sequel did really happen, it wouldn't be as great as was the first one.

And BTW, in it's times, The Godfather was some kind of blockbuster (check out it's box office numbers).

It's between 8-10. On scale 1-5 I'd give it 4. I like it a lot. The European/Original version (aka Uncut) is better than the Weinstein Bros. cutted US version, imho.

8-Very Good

The central relationship is beautifully crafted and it is filmed almost like a daydream plus the action is decent

(the only good movie from luc besson)

I actually thought Nikita was good as well

Excellent film, One of my all time favorites. Leon's job at the beginning was awesome and truly showed the work of a Professional.

I'd love to see where Mathilda would go with her life and complete her story,Nat as a hitwoman would be sublime:O

I'll go with 7. Just good. I don't see the brilliant movie that alot of people do. But I did love the flipped out Gary Oldman with his bigass handgun.

I think that Leon is a spectacular movie. It has a superb cast, a great story, some of the most wonderful performances, I just love it.

Damn good movie.

One of the best portrayls of a hitman, along with the Hitman series of games.

Collateral was ok, but Leon was much better

Fantastic movie ..... just about Perfect.

Portman deserved an Oscar .......... many have been won for less.

Could never happen. But a fun concept.

I never understood the fascination with this film. The action and story were ok but I did not like the Leon character, the dialogue or the creepy interaction between the portman character and leon.

I have always loved this movie, natalie portman was amazing in it and jean reno was phenomonal,
awesome movie 9/10
