L.A. school district says flutes contaminated with semen may have been passed out

I know this is wrong, but, here goes:

#1: Talk about putting the "wood" in "woodwind."

#2: They should have known something was wrong when the black ones were made a bit longer.

#3: Sadly, the skin flute is hasn't been used in a standard orchestra since Beethoven.

#4. Apparently, once you blew on it for a few minutes, you'd have to wait at least an hour before trying again.

#5. Like most men, this jerk said it was a flute, but it was really a piccolo.

#6. Not surprisingly, the instruments are pretty good at playing A Salty Dog.

That's all I got for now ... which is what this guy probably said after the ninth flute.

Um...when did this happen? I wasn't a band nerd in school, but I ran a music store for several years, and we were very involved with the local schools and their band programs. We rented band instruments, and honestly, the school band programs kept us in business which allowed us to sell all the "cool" stuff. **** like this is why school band programs are shriveling up across the country. It's really a sad situation like most things going on in this country now.
