This is concerning me that we are getting more news about TDK's sequel than this. It is about d*** time we get a confirmation about something atleast. I have pretty much given up on this franchise. :o :cmad:

No concerns here, the script isn't finished, can't attract potential actors, without a script to show them--or even talk about the film. Everything moves forward faster after the script is done. Besides, there's also more news about Transformers 2, as well. But that doesn't mean we won't be getting news for SM4. Hold on a bit longer.

There's no script yet. A script is supposed to be finished in a few months.

Yeah let's hope that Raimi won't return. As for Maguire and Dunst I personally would like to seem their roles recasted. Maguire is what 34? He'll be 37 in 2011. Kind of old for Peter Parker don't you think?

If you have to, send a SHH agent on his doorstep to assassinate him (if he takes the helm).

Not to be taken seriously, by the way... ;)

I disagree, I want them all back.

Dark Knight Opened my eyes. All Spider-Man Movies are average. I would love to see this franchise taken in the direction terminator is going. I see the original cast being not too great after there performances in SM3. But i would not want to recast them. I dont like casts being recast to begin with. Hopefully new director though.

I don't care how old Maguire is going to be, I just want a new main cast period.

Again,I liked Spidey 3 and the majority of people did as well, but it did get alot of negative reviews and bashing. I think that people at Sony,Raimi;etc aren't rushing into things. I mean, after Spidey 2,the filmmakers pretty much started work right away on Spidey 3. I think they are planning things out more carefully and taking time to make up for the mistake of Spider-man 3(or what some percieved as a mistake). I'm sure the way TDK is raking in the money and praise is causing them to try and make a better, more serious Spidey film.

The more time they take, the better. I want this film done right and not rushed.

Lets go back to having 1 storyline. Not ten storylines in one movie.
