PF: Definitely as tough as in the comics, but there's also a softer side to her. How would you categorize her relationship with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in the film?

JA: She is very loyal to Thor and cares a lot about protecting him and protecting Asgard.. As for a possible love relationship you'll just have to wait and see the movie. My lips are sealed!

Well, of course they can't say anything concrete about it. But come on, everything we've seen about the movie centers on the relationship between Thor and Jane. He's totally leaving Sif for her.

I too fear that Sif will be kicked to the curb in favor of Jane, simply because Jane is played by the better known Natalie Portman while Jaimie is relatively unknown. That's the cruelty of the business for you.

I'm pretty sure they cast the relative unknown in the role because they never planned for her to be the major love interest. It's not like they cast Jamie and thought "Wait, people won't know her, we've got to stick him with Portman".
