Ok I know a lot of people didn't like it and reviews were mixed in general, but I loved this movie. It was a natural progression from day, and what romero said was going to happen all along (which is what puzzled me when people were ''surprised'' that zombies evolved...bub anyone?).

I thought it had much better characters (kauffman was a slimey bastard, and cholo was sympathic despite his huge flaws, and I liked riley and his lil gang), and just loved it....except the ending where they decide that the zombies are just misunderstood :o

where do you guys stand?

Easily the worst of Romero's zombie movies.

Why though? What are your full thoughts on it? I mean there's reasons you think that right?

And does anyone know what's happening with diary of the dead?

Come on guys, tell me why you feel the way you do...

Or did you just hate it for no particular reason?

I liked it, but it's the weakest one out of the Romero Zombie movies.

I don't see how anyone could say they liked romero's other zombie movies and hated this, since it's a natural progression of the story...

I don't know...it was cheesy, terribly acted, written, very cliche. It was also over the top gorey(ecspecially when they ripped out the guy's spine and he was still screaming.)

It was nothing more than a badly made popcorn movie compared to his other efforts.

I liked it very much. Can't pick a favorite from Romero's Dead saga. I like 'em all. Or maybe Dawn is the best.

I liked it but I agree it was the weaker Romero zombie movie. I think it has to do with the quality.
I'm serious, the last 3 weren't crappy quality or anything but it looked a bit realistic to me sans a few deaths. This one just looked too polished in quality for me. Like everything looks Hollywood-ed to me even though Romero had a lot of freedom on the movie. I think also the people were, I hate to say, too pretty for the movie. The first three had actors that weren't Hollywood gorgeous or hot but they looked like regular people, the majority of the actors in this movie looked a little too eye candy-ish for me.

I agree here, i liked the film but its not spectacular an dosnt really get a message across like the other ones do.

Have to see what diary of the dead will bring. Romero must be getting on abit now
