Largest feasible Batfamily in the DCEU, in your opinion.

I'd say they all exist and Damien is still a kid living among the League of Shadows at this point in time. Whether we'll get to see him is a different question, but so far I don't see why he wouldn't/couldn't exist. Bruce is right around the same age, at least as I always pictured it, as well when he first finds out that he has a son.

League of Assassins, you mean.

Keep Damien away from every universe going forward.

Yeah lol. Unsure why I put of Shadows. Damien's really controversial, I initially hated him but gradually warmed up to the idea.

3-4

The original 3 (not including Batman): Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, and Barbara Gordon.

Barbara Gordon joins a short time after Dick Grayson becomes Robin.

Dick Grayson has a falling out with Batman and leaves.

Jason Todd joins after Dick leaves.

Jason Todd and Barbara Gordon get killed and paralyzed, respectively.

Batman spends 10 years operating alone, occasionally accepting Barbara's help.

Luke Fox joins the "family" post BvS.

So, 4 total, but at most, 3 at a time.

And the time frame for all of this:

Disclaimer: I don't think any of them should join Batman while teenagers.

1995: The Batman begins his crusade against crime.

2000: a 20-yr old Dick Grayson joins Batman's crusade as Robin

2002-3: Barbara Gordon joins Batman's team as Batgirl.

2003-2004: Dick Grayson has a falling out with Batman, and leaves, soon after becoming Nightwing in Bludhaven.

2003-4: Jason Todd joins Batman's crusade as the second Robin.

2005: Jason Todd is killed by Joker and Barbara Gordon is paralyzed.

2015: BvS happens. Batman's spent 10 years fighting alone, and occasionally accepting help from Barbara Gordon as Oracle, but ultimately he pushes her away, not wanting to hurt anyone else by dragging them into his fight against crime.

post-BvS (2018-19): Luke Fox joins Batman's team, after Dick Grayson (as Nightwing) and Barbara Gordon (as a Star Labs-healed Batgirl) rejoin Batman.

I'd say Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, and a newer Robin (Tim Drake), while Jason Todd could be Red Hood but as a bad guy

Batman and Batgirl could be training Tim Drake and showing him the ropes....Nighwing could appear and help in a few scenes to fight Jason or train Tim

Please God no Damien.....

Youngest to oldest.

Damian Wayne - Robin/Heir to the Demon (both for familial drama), Jason Todd - Red Hood, Barbara Gordon - Oracle (or Batgirl if there isn't a Nightwing), Richard Grayson - Nightwing.

If they do Damien, they'll probably make him 20 something

Hopefully not as being trained by the league his whole life would make him plenty skilled to deal with full grown adults even as a child, the oldest I would want them to go would be 13 as he still needs to be in his developing phase so Bruce can make the most impact and actually change his fate.

Dick Grayson, Jason Todd and Barbra Gordon to start. Pre BVS Jason is killed, Barbra is paralyzed, and Dick becomes distant from Bruce.

Post JL we get Cassandra Cain and Damien Wayne, both of whom are rescued from the League of Shadows. Batman fixes his relationship with both Barbra and Dick.

Honestly I just want to see Cassandra on the big screen!

I like the idea of this older Batman who has used kid sidekicks in the past and showing how messed up that was:

Dick Grayson and him have had a fallen out and haven't spoken in a number of years. Dick is in therapy most likely and trying to move on with his life while blaming Bruce for all his issues.

Barbara Gordon is paralyzed, but still helps out as Oracle once in a while (a very natural and easy character to implement)

Jason Todd is dead and Bruce and Dick both blame Batman for it.

What an interesting way to show the kid sidekick thing IMO and very accurate to the comics. Dick could come out of retirement as Nightwing, or even be operating as Nightwing on his own

I doubt it'll happen, but it'd be cool if we got a Tim Drake origin as a subplot.

Batman knows he can't beat Deathstroke/whatever the actual plot of the movie is alone, but after Jason he can't bear to let someone else in on his fight. Batman having to learn to open up and trust his family is a pretty major reoccurring story in the Batman mythos, but we've never really seen it on the big screen. Plus redeeming the idea of a Batman and Robin movie would certainly be good press for the DCEU.

So given the news looks like Batman already had Dick as Robin, who later becomes NightWing. Then he had Jason, who was killed by the Joker. No word on Batgirl yet but I could definitely see her in the universe.

My only hope is we see my boy Tim Drake as Batman's third Robin before a Damien if they go that route

Dick, Babs, and Damian. Dead Jason.

Damian ties Batman to Talia, Ra's, and the League of Assassins. He's the likeliest heir to the cowl if we're talking long term. He also has a great love/hate sibling rivalry relationship with Dick. Out of all the Robins these two I buy as legit brothers.

Babs because she's a staple whether she's Batgirl or Oracle. She'd also be great opposite Dick.

For this particular Batman franchise, I'd be perfectly content with Dick and Barbara.

Jason's dead.
Barbara is Oracle.
Dick is Nightwing.
Alfred is Alfred-ing.

And either in the next two movies we are introduced to Tim or he is already newly Bruce's protege.

So 3-4.

No need for Damien if they aren't doing Ra's and Talia al Ghul after just focusing on them for a trilogy. Plus Damien is a **** character.

No need to include Spoiler or Batwoman. Focus on the Robin legacy and the affect the Joker has had on the Bat-family.

I'd add one more Robin to that equation. Doesn't matter if it's Tim, Jason, or Damien.

If we have the bat-family in full effect, you cannot possibly ignore the most consistent and prominent figure of that stable.

I think Jason should stay dead.

Only living members are Dick and a paralyzed Babs.

Babs, Dick, Jason.

Any more is just too much.

Probably all they really need is Batman and Alfred. Maybe Robin and possibly Batgirl. And two villains at most. They are due for a good Riddler. Anymore are just too much clutter.
That's sort of a problem I have with the Marvel movies. So many characters it's hard to keep track of them all or know what each one is all about because they have to share so much screen time.

No offense to disabled people, but does anyone in the general public want to see a chick rolling around in a wheelchair in an action movie? People want to see a female character out on the streets kicking ass with the rest of the boys.
If Babs isn't Batgirl in the movie, what's the point? In Batman & Robin we had a fully kick-ass Batgirl long after the travesty of Killing Joke was written. I think a paralyzed Babs was one of the things that doomed the TV series Birds of Prey.
Yes, it was terribly written but it might have gone over better if it had a Batgirl out there kicking ass instead of an Oracle stuck in a tower puttering away on a computer.

Ditto.

I'd like to see a Bat-film with just one villain, something we haven't really seen since Batman '89. Even TDKR ended up with a 'reveal'.

I think it'll be Batman, Nightwing, Oracle/Batgirl, Damian, and either Jason or Tim (but not both).
