Largest feasible Batfamily in the DCEU, in your opinion.

How many Bat-boys and girls do you think could be done well?

Jason (at least in a flashback, not necessarily resurrected), Dick & Barbara, and eventually a Robin.

Down the line, if the universe lasts, eventually you can add more to keep things fresh. After all that's the only reason why the Bat family got so large in the comics.

There's always a chance Batgirl could function as Oracle without the Killing Joke elements. I don't see WB going that route. Too much controversy.
Also Killing Joke Animated is already made.

Damian boiiii.... stop hating on the Greatest of All Time!!

I'm constantly musing about how I'd adapt Batman into a dozen seasons of TV, and I'm still wondering how Azrael (as well as Knightfall in general) could be reworked. I definitely haven't read enough stories with the guy (didn't watch the Gotham episodes either), but the idea of this Jean-Paul Valley anti-hero guy showing up just when Batman needs a stand-in? Yeah, who wants to go through that whole thing again?

I want Damian post credit scene in The Batman

Leaves airport... walks to a sponsored coffee shop while waiting on Uber or Lyft.

Beats up a punk robber in the time before Uber arrives

Arrives at Wayne's and says he's his son

Wayne closes the door on him (in a way played for laughs)

While I haven't read nearly enough issues with Spoiler/Batgirl III, I'd be interested to see Stephanie and Tim introduced into the story together, right down to them putting their heads together to figure out who's under the cowl.

I feel like I cannot overstate how much I don't want Damian in these movies.

Damian Wayne will almost certainly be in the DCEU. DC is pushing that character so hard. I bet Tim Drake won't show up, I'll be happy if he does though.

With all the easter eggs in BVS, from Jimmy Olsen to JL Emails, I'm surprised the little girl Bruce saved during the Black Zero event wasn't Stephanie Brown. :o

"Hey, it's gonna be okay. What's your name?"
"Stephanie."
"Okay, Stephanie. Where's your mom?"
"Up there.."

As far as the movies, I can't imagine more than 3 sidekicks, tops, making their way in.

Damian Wayne's story might be too involved and come with too much baggage.

I think we're more likely to see the classic Batfamily, the loss of Jason, and the introduction of Tim Drake.

I feel the same way. Separate movie for Nightwing, Jason Todd's death haunts Bruce and has put a wedge between him and Grayson, The introduction of Tim Drake could work well in a big Batman film where he is overwhelmed with chaos in Gotham City, and be a good way of closing off Batman's character arc started in BvS.

And ideally, I'd like to see Barbara as Oracle, with maybe some flashbacks to her time as Batgirl, and possibly a new Batgirl on the streets, Cassandra Cain maybe.

We should collaborate and write a pilot, as well as a general outline for the first four seasons, and pitch it to HBO. I think about the same thing when I'm killing time in my brain, often when I'm walking the dog lol.

I'd like to see something dark, gritty, serious, with a lot of noir influence. Something that takes place in modern times, with modern technology, but has a visual aesthetic closer to the 1930's, kinda like how B:TAS is inspired by those old Cagney gangster films and Dick Tracy and the like. They could reuse a lot of the costumes, cars, set pieces from Boardwalk Empire, if HBO picked it up

Also, something that has the aesthetic and vibe of 1970's New York, the corrupt cops and seemingly unstoppable crime. So it would be like Serpico (Year One) meets Boardwalk Empire (Batman: The Animated Series).

Focus it on Gotham City more than just Batman, in the same way that The Wire focuses on the Baltimore inner city. Gotham City through the eyes of the good cops and bad cops, politicians, lawyers (Harvey Dent), school teachers, press (Vicki Vale), etc. So that you could have full episodes that hardly feature Bruce/Batman, or don't at all, similar to Gotham Central, or an entire episode that tells a story through the eyes of a common crook who gets involved with the freaks, similar to Brian Azzarello's Joker story. Screw Gotham, what a wasted opportunity. I think this series could be very successful and critically acclaimed. Appeal to Batman fans as well as fans of serious crime drama. The Wire meets DareDevil, set in the crazy world of Gotham City, with one of the two most famous superheroes to ever exist, with kind of a Watchmen vibe, focusing on adult stories and mature themes.

Based on recent announcements it seems like Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon are on their way and obviously the Robin outfit in BvS seems to reference Jason Todd. My guess is we get either Drake or Damian and that's it.

Whedon's Batgirl throws a wrench into their timeline presumably. I don't think they ever foresaw a Batgirl movie being in the production line so soon, but they couldn't resist the chance to work with Joss. But from his recent comments it seems we're leaning towards an origin movie. Which in and of itself isn't bad or wrong, but the Bat-verse has fast-fowarded more than the other heroes. By decades. With Nightwing being in the works, I'm curious how they'll approach Barbara's place in this universe.

I'm hoping they let each heroes' movies work on their own. Meaning, keep the JL movies as the current timeline, let their individual trilogies tell what happened before and after the wars in the JL movies. So your Batman 2 is less "okay, this is right after The Flash 1" in the timeline, and more kind of its own thing, with the Batman and The Flash converging only in the big crossover events.

^ Under that scope, I think they have more leeway with their individual movies.

For the DCU, I would say 3 unless a reboot Bat Universe is done.

The "let your family die" refers to the 2nd Robin (might as well call him the first in the DCU as 2 not fit in my opinion). Other than that, I think an outside copycatter would be the 3rd like Azrael, Batgirl, or Batwoman, or someone else other than Robin like maybe female version from Frank Miller story suppose (although in this case might as well say Robin that supposedly died was a female version of Robin as just think it not work with what's been established to make 2 Robins at all).

Could the Batgirl movie maybe take place a decade- or decades- before BvS/Justice League?
