HUGE NEWS.

http://www.latimes.com/entertainmen...rty-debate-moderator-20121017,0,5390151.story

The debate, which will be held in Chicago, will feature Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, Green Party candidate Jill Stein, Constitution Party candidate Virgil Goode, and Rocky Johnson of the newly formed Justice Party. The event will be broadcast live on Ora TV, the digital programming service where King launched his online talk show, “Larry King Now,” earlier this year. The Free and Equal Elections Foundation and, for unclear reasons, Russia Today will also stream the debate online.
So, three sites are streaming it!

Ora.tv, freeandequal.org, and rt.com will stream the debate online. TV wise in America, RT America will air it. Overseas will be Al Jazeera doing tv duties.

Yes, I know RT is raw news/conspiracy theorist (so am I), but they cover 3rd parties and are very popular on YouTube. Huge news.

Also it's Rocky ANDERSON, not Johnson.

New link info: Including a second 3rd party debate on Oct 30th in D.C.

Wow, I am impressed. Third party debates happen in every election....but to get Larry King to moderate it. That is quite the coup.

Too bad this wont change the fact we are getting Mittens or Obama for another four years. Ugh even writing that puts a bad taste in my mouth. Can it be 2016 already?

I wonder if it has to do with the fact Mr. King interviewed Gary Johnson on his Ora.tv/Hulu web show ''Larry King Now'' about two weeks ago. Not gonna lie, wasn't too keen on watching this...now I am. Rocky Anderson is only on the ballot in 33 states and D.C, but only 15 of those are um, state ballots, just over half are write-in's.

And who do we have in 2016? Mrs. Clinton? She supports going to war with Iran! :csad: also I don't want that Pluto Nash to come true.

Rand Paul leaves a bad taste in the mouth and libertarians can't win in the GOP. Chris Christie? Well, he did say the War on Drugs is a waste of money, but that probably angers the status quo GOP.

Im not sure Clinton will run. She will be 69 years old.

Chris Christie will have to lose at least 150 pounds if he runs in 2016, otherwise he'd be the fattest Presidential candidate since Taft. And with the United States the fattest nation in the world, I don't think having that big of a guy as president helps shed that image.

Itching for Rubio?

Or... actually, I have no idea who the Democratic frontrunner will be for 2016.

Actually that could work to his advantage if most of the country is overweight by 2016.

Updated first post with more info. Just tv coverage and date of another 3rd party debate Oct 30th.

NPR did a "debate" where they basically asked Gary Johnson and Jill Stein to answer a few questions and talk about their platforms for aboute ten minutes the other day (I put debate in quotes because it wasn't really a debate, there were no rebuttals to responses, and they didn't even reply to the same questions. It was more just a chance to give them some air time to get their campaign platforms out there).

I used to say Hillary Clinton but I guess she wants to retire.

Well, not only that, we're also very image-centric. We will never have someone that looks like Lincoln or Taft again.

So, teh 3rd party debate is also suppose to be streamed on abc news live stream...and they are suppose to promote it on their Facebook as well...hmmmm...

http://abcnews.go.com/politics/live/

Also, C-Span has the 3rd party debate on tv tomorrow 9pm to 10:30...but tv wise(Time Warner) it isn't updated, yet. In the very least, c-span will live stream it.

Larry King - "We're on drugs....we're on drugs!" hehe

Actual moderation in a debate - who'da thunk?

Last night Obama and Romney turned every question into some b.s. about the economy and how much they love Israel.

I think 28,281 was the high viewer count on youtube for ora.tv, which abcnews.go.com shared...

dunno about rt.com viewers yet or c-span's tv and online.

I like how so many people went to vote on the second debate that it temporarily overloaded the FreeandEqual server. :D
