I finally finished Death Note just half hour ago and it's the first anime I've seen from beginning to end in a LONG time. Great stuff and so well written, I think my next anime I'll be starting is Full Metal Alchemist since the whole thing is available on instant streaming on Netflix I won't have to wait for discs to come in the mail and I'll be able to watch them as often as I'd like.

You've got some good viewing to look forward to there; FMA is one of the best ever.

Yeah, FMA is good. Just a personal choice, but I like the Brotherhood version better myself, but both versions of the anime are great.




As for last anime I watched, just finished Katekyo Hitman Reborn!. Loved the series, got that same sadness you feel when an anime series you really like ends. Second I watched the last episode I started thinking, "....Ok...what do I watch now?" lol. I guess I could always go back and pick up the Bleach and Naruto animes, or start reading Naruto again (still read One Piece and Bleach) to fill in the gap until I find another good one.

The good thing tho is that apparently the manga continued on. So there's a whole new arc and it's still going, so with some luck maybe they'll continue the anime later on. Warning to anyone who picks up the series tho, it's ok at first, but doesn't start getting really good until the Mukuro arc (the first major arc) which is about 30 episodes in. A bit of a stretch to get really into it, but when this anime hits it's high notes it's really good (IMO).

To fill that empty spot left by Hitman Reborn, I'm giving Soul Eater a try. So far it's pretty good, I'm not very far in, but the humor and action are good so far. Part of me was put off at first by the main hero being a weapon (used to seeing the main char do the fighting himself), but it's making more and more sense as I watch it. Plus a change in pace of the fomula from time to time never hurt anyone.

I just watched Ghost in the Shell: SAC season 1 and 2 for the first time. I loved it! Such a great show.

I finished up Soul Eater, and wanted to move on kinda quick. It was an enjoyable anime, but the last 15 episodes just seemed to lose focus...and get weird towards the end. It wasn't bad tho, I really liked the first 30 or so episodes.

After that on the site I watch anime a lot on Hajime no Ippo was listed as their anime of the month. I've heard some of you guys praise it a lot, and thought what the hell. Gave it a shot and loving it. I'm not really a sports guy, not that I don't like sports, I just don't like watching them as much as playing them if that makes any sense. So wasn't sure if I'd like an anime about boxing, but everything seems to be there, the story, action, and especially character development are all top notch.
