Latino Review has some details on the shooting of The Dark Knight!!!

http://www.latinoreview.com/news.php?id=1085

-----------------------------------------------------------

Pre-production has started in London on the much anticipated Batman sequel The Dark Knight! We can confirm that most of the Batman Begins crew is back, including director of photography Wally Pfister, production designer Nathan Crowley, costume designer Lindy Hemming and art directors Simon Lamont and Kevin Kavanaugh.

The crew have been working on top-secret designs and storyboards for about two weeks now. Some crew members have been to Chicago for location scouting and they will possibly shoot there next May or June. Other locations in England are still been considerd at this moment, though Liverpool has apparently been crossed off the list for the moment.

Cheers!

Cool, some news. Thanks for that.

Good to hear Wally Pfister is back ...hope he wins an Oscar this time.

Nice.

Now...SOMEBODY STEAL THOSE STORYBOARDSSSS

Great. The same costume designer :csad:.

Oh well. Thanks for posting this, Thres. And kudos to LR.

hey, all 4 of the burton/schumacher batflicks had bob ringwood as the costume designer, and the suit changes in every one. the same designer doesn't mean the same exact suit

Still, it probably means another rubber suit.

Unless she holds true to her words.

She said something along the lines of there being better materials to use for the suit, but they didn't have enough time to research them, so they stuck with the foam latex/neoprene.

Considering how much time they have now, It'd be nice to see them gravitate towards those other materials. Freshen the suit up.

Good to see things moving and I'm not to bothered about the suit I'm used to the rubbery one now

Good news. I'd kill to get a look at some of those designs and storyboards. Particularly any concept work they've done on The Joker.

But alas. They'll probably won't be revealed until about two years from now, with an "Art Of The Dark Knight" book. :csad:

Cool LR, now if you can address that whole script review fiasco...

Not really that much news, but at least it's something.

Dude it ain't worth it... not everyone will agree with the plot if it was leaked... and then theese boards will turn into a bunch of hypers b****ing and complaining... lets just see the rest of the cast and the direction they are going with the script... (not evey damn detail) and show some balls that they will nail this thing...

Hypers will always b**** and complain. It's the natural order of things.

Well better to not give em a reason.... I am suprised most of use agreed with Ledger... but lets just keep the *****ing to casting decisions... which Nolan has obviously handled well so far so we shouldn't even ***** about that either...

Err...I was just joking...though I'd like to see some of the art.

To clarify, it was Day Murch who said that not Linda Hemming.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Still, my comment stands :csad:.

That would be nice.

While at this point I've accepted the rubber suit, I'd love to see something different, provided of course that it looks good on-camera.

no liverpool?! so we're not getting this story?

Good news:word: Its very important that they kept the same core team responsible for the look of the last film.

Pfister, Hemming and Crowley.

Now who's going to steal those designs for us?I've got a crowbar.:woot:

So what's wrong with Liverpool? Doesn't Batman like the Beatles?
:D
