Arrow Laurel is going to die

It's not uncommon for actors and crew to buy each other end of season gifts.

Interesting. So, now I have images of Colton trying to sweet talk Emily helping her put her stuff in the car, getting awkward friendzone hug. Heh, poor guy.

I really, really hope they won't do it like this, if they ever want to have a chance at a Birds of Prey spin-off succeeding.

Killing the fan favorite tech expert, crippling the kickass ex-assassin, and putting her on tech support duty, even though she might be more comfortable in the field of biology, have her amateur sister take over as the Canary, watching her get killed nearly every episode, because she lacks the training, and possibly being accompanied by the Huntress, who is nothing like her comic counterpart, and probably the least likable female after Laurel.

If they did it, I highly doubt that it would be a spinoff, but just a storyline on Arrow, like the Suicide Squad. But yeah, if the gifts are normal, then there's not really any reason to think they'll kill Felicity.

Felicity may be leaving - but maybe to be a regular in "Flash"?

Haters are gonna hate: :hehe:

At the same time, Laurel has an emotional scene in here that I think – for the people who are fans of Laurel – they’re going to get their money’s worth in this finale. It really is a finale of people embracing their destiny, and really making big and conscious choices of who they want to be, and what they’re willing to do for Oliver, and what they’re willing to do to save the city. It’s really exciting to have gotten to this point in the series, because so many of the things we’re doing in this last episode are things that we talked about doing back when we had the pilot. Greg, Marc, and I, and Geoff Johns, had conversations about “hey, wouldn’t it be great if one day we did this?” And we’re finally at “one day,” and this stuff is finally happening.

I hope that happens as she fits in Flash's world than Arrow. Hopefully they could bring in young Ronny Raymond. ':woot:

By now I think more likely they would kill off sara since they are forcing laurel into female lead. Felicity I don't see leaving for flash. Plus killing felicity would hurt show among fanbase. With sara some like her and others don't.

Yeah I also agree Sarah is going to die over Laurel. This thing all started with Oliver having to make a choice to either save Shado or save Sarah. Its likely Slade will kill Sarah because of it.

Slade already killed Moira in front of Oliver and now if he kills Sara in front of Oliver too(apparently he "killed" her in the flashbacks too), then what kind of hero is Oliver when he cannot save the day. Oliver needs a victory and hopefully no major character dies.

A notable Quote

It refers to just about everybody in the show. Everyone is really faced with a choice about who they’re going to be, and for Oliver, all season long, it’s been a question of “am I a hero or am I a killer?” For Thea, she’s certainly presented with two paths before her. “Am I Oliver’s sister, or am I Malcolm’s daughter?” Sara, “Am I the Black Canary, or am I one of Ra’s al Ghul’s minions?”

Sarah is going to die not laurel

I'm leaning towards no on that. Guggenheim responded to a tweet about showing Sara training with the league in Season 3 with "we're talking about it".

Don't think they would be talking about showing Sara flashbacks if she wasn't alive in the present.

Laurel will die so the show can reinvent her character through the lazarus pit.

my theory
Laurel gets her throat slit. They manage to save her, but the nearest hospital that isn't in rubble is in Central City. She gets a transfusion with blood tained in the particle reactor explosion, leading to her Canary Cry.

It would be a stupid idea, the White Canary is an assassin which fits Sara not Laurel.

I don't think so. It could make by saying after Laurel is revived by the Lazarus pit she is trained by the league. That would make sense.

Nope still a stupid idea.

I thought they were going to do that earlier this season but with the mirakuru, so maybe they'll use the particle reactor radiation like you're saying, unless they decide to just keep the canary cry device Sara used.

Funny how haters keep coming with "alternatives" (Manhunter, White Canary...), characters that are completely different from Dinah Laurel Lance. Again, the producers have been clear from the start, like it or not:

As for what this means for Laurel, Kreisberg says, "Everyone knows that Laurel Lance is the Black Canary. That's the way it is in the comic books, but how we get from A to B is the story of our show. In the same way that Oliver, when we meet him, is the vigilante, but this season he's going to becoming the Arrow, that's the step of his journey to eventually becoming the Green Arrow. Laurel Lance right now is a lawyer with a lot of heart and a lot of humanity and courage. But it takes more than that to put on the mask and go out and fight crime. Our series is the evolution of that. People will see how Caity Lotz fits into Laurel's journey along the way. For us, it's very emotional and surprising and exciting. I would say to everybody, we haven't let you down so far. Keep going on this ride with us."

agreed

Just as a note, Sara's character is called "Canary"

There is no character called "Black Canary" on Arrow.

There also is no character called "Green Arrow" on Arrow. Just because she doesn't have the full name doesn't mean she's not "Black Canary."

And Sara is more like Dinah Laurel Lance from the comics, than Laurel actually is.

Can't be as bad as some other very stupid ideas put up on the net.

Sure it is, only on the Arrow board would posters debate who should be the assassin the lawyer or the assassin. Everywhere else they would wonder why anyone would debate such a thing.

Not that it make any real sense to do so,but they could make Laurel the Black Canary (complete with Sara's old costume + wig) while they make Sara White Canary with a new costume.

That way those that decree Laurel MUST be BC will be satisfied, and those who want to see Sara keep on kicking butt in the show, gets to see her as WC.

Everybody happy?:woot:
