So I am trying to help my friend out with her hw because her professor apparently didn't explain this very well...she is supposed to pick a side:non-management or management and write about what careers are available, what issues they face, etc..

The problem is, we don't get the difference between management and non-management as far as law enforcement goes and I've been trying to research it for a while now.

If anyone has any info, please help! Thanks in advance.

Management and non-management in law enforcement? Even police officers have supervisors, sargents, lieutenants, captains, chiefs, etc. Because most police agencies are rank based there is less of a significance to "management/non-management".

What specific information is your friend needing?

^^^^ what he said.

I am not understanding the question apparently. Please explain.

There are people who give orders, they are the managers. The people who follow out those orders are the non-managers.
