Does anyone know if the interior of the League of Shadows mountain-top compound/head quarters was a set or an actual building? The reason I wonder if it's an actual building is, a similar looking structure interior was in Inception. But I can't find out of it's just similarly designed sets on a superficial level, or if it's the same building set dressed in different ways. I wish I could find my "Art of Batman Begins" book... it might know...

I've seen behind-the-scenes pics from both movies, and what I love about Nolan is that he still goes practical (to an extent). Even ILM doesn't do models anymore, but both the League of Shadows compound and the Inception temple(?) are both minatures that were sculpted on minature dirt piles that look like the sides of mountains. They are shot outdoors to get that natural sunlight and there is green screen behind them so that the sky and the rest of the mountain range can be painted in digitally. Such great effects and the digital stuff works well with it, since it's basically the modern-age version of matte painting.

The interior was a set, not an actual building. I can't find proof to back this up, but it was there. I remember a 360* quicktime file from way back...
