Anyone else trying to learn another language? Talk about it here and share tips etc with others.

At the moment I'm studying Spanish, a few months in and progress is pretty good when I put the hours in. Also I want to strengthen my French as I have a little French heritage and it's been a long while.

I'm trying to learn Japanese and tagalog. Wouldn't mind learning chinese so that when I go into those chinese restaraunts, I can understand what those ba$tards say in their language and start laughing about! :cmad:

It's hard to take you seriously.
I see your screen name and hear:

I'm the one who wants to be with you
Deep inside I hope you feel it too
Waited on a line of greens and blues
Just to be the next to be with you

It's hard to take you seriously, I look at your previous posts and they say it all..

Good contribution though, get out.

How do you say "Meeeoooooww" in French?:o

I'm gonna try teaching myself French, and my native Gaelic (Irish for Irish).

I took 2 years of French in high school. It was pretty easy to learn. I've forgotten pretty much everything though.:o:(

I'm also trying to learn Musclesforsupes-ese these days... Randor!

Im brushing up on Japanese. Since I'm back in the states I don't get a chance to speak Japanese much. Going to restaurants doesnt help either. It's funny, everytime I go to a Japanese restaurant and ask for the bathroom in Japanese, I don't realize that the establishment is owned by Koreans and they get angry at me for my mistake. Anyway, I'm learning Siamese now, and later I will learn Korean and Cebuano.

I've mastered the language of Drunkish.
I still have a slight Sober accent. But I'm working on it

I'm so glad I took some university level French courses... I can basically figure out most things I hear now, it's just a lot of the pronouns that throw me off. Je t'adore, je m'adore, etc. But I'll get it.

I'm studying Mandarin, and you really have to put a LOT of time into it. Writing the characters is a pain.

I'm in Spanish III. The teacher is crazy but understand a little. I will not be taking Spanish is college.:o
