Have they announced how long the movie is gonna be yet?
I cant recall seeing it anywhere

well, i'll wait till i watch it to make any real judgements, but 81 minutes if awfully short.

Wow, and I thought TMNT 2 was short at 88 mins.

lol its funny to think that anything under 90 minutes is extremely short for a movie when maybe 2-3 decades ago anything over that was extremely long lol

On a site called Technodrome, the director said that the original storyboard had the flick coming in at 120 minutes. There were obviously a lot of cuts made.

From the interview:

CS/SHH!: Do you have a running time yet?

Gray: I think we're at 81 and change, and then probably five on getting out credits, the end credits. We're toying now with some kind of visual at the end so it's not just an endless 500 people endlessly crawling there. It'll be music over that. We have a deal with Atlantic Records who are coming up with various groups to drop in. It won't be when we had SBK, we had a lot of that techno sound, Ya Kid K, and all that, Vanilla Ice.

So basically around 86-87 minutes top.

For those keeping score, the first movie was about 87 minutes without credits. Shrek was about 84 minutes without credits. So I guess this is pretty average for a CG animated family/action-adventure, and close to the average for TMNT movie.

Makes me wonder what kind of budget they have though if they had to cut out a lot.

Six and a half inches.
