I had no idea what emo was until I saw it on the Hype.
And I agree... it's overused. Most likely overrated but I can't say since I really am quite alien to it.

Emotion has been tainted by spoiled suburban a**holes, and overblown by other a**holes who take it upon themselves to be big and badass by calling people who are depressed out on being emo. The reason for depression is irrelevant, if you have a good home and life and ain't happy you're an emo f**kface.

personally, i dont find it appealing.

i couldn't date a guy who wears pants tighter than mine, and wears more make up than i do. and a lot of the "emo" haircuts annoy me lol

on a side note, guys who were their pants hanging way off their butts annoys me too. don't they know that originated in prison???
