There's a question that's been on my mind lately: Where are the people who are willing to stand up and acknowledge that history has once again proved me right? I mean, FOX is intentionally being licentious. Let me get to the crux of the matter: I assert that we cannot and we must not allow ourselves to become infected with the fatal germs of neopaganism. My views, of course, are not the issue here. The issue is that it says that it understands the difference between civilization and savagery. That's a stupid thing to say. It's like saying that we should be grateful for the precious freedom to be robbed and kicked in the face by such a noble creature as it. FOX claims that the media should "create" news rather than report it. I, however, aver that that's a load of crud. Yes, it should focus more on the quality of its writing than on the amount of drivel it can squeeze in, but I've repeatedly pointed out to it that its publicity stunts are about as useful to society as a hundred deutsche marks were in 1923 Germany. That apparently didn't register with it, though. Oh, well; I guess FOX is capable of only two things, namely whining and underhanded tricks.
FOX's convictions are simply the result of vested interests striking back at a group whose actions in support of religious freedom, social reform, and government accountability have cut through those vested interests, yes. But FOX argues that it's okay if its morals initially cause our quality of life to degrade because "sometime", "someone" will do "something" "somehow" to counteract that trend. I wish I could suggest some incontrovertible chain of apodictic reasoning that would overcome this argument, but the best I can do is the following: If it wants to be taken seriously, it should counter the arguments in this letter with facts, not illogical panaceas, personal anecdotes, or insults. In the simplest of terms, honest people will admit that FOX's lieutenants allege, after performing shoddy research and utilizing threadbare scholarship, that a number of their enemies are planning to use psychological tools to trick us into doing whatever short-sighted braggadocios require of us. Concerned people are not afraid to give our propaganda fighters an instrument that is very much needed at this time. And sensible people know that perhaps one day we will live in a world where good people are not troubled by fear of churlish traitors. Until that day arrives, however, we must spread the word that while FOX insists that what I call belligerent lugs are easily housebroken, reality dictates otherwise. Actually, if you want a real dose of reality, look at how FOX has for a long time been arguing that obscurity, evasiveness, incomprehensibility, indirectness, and ambiguity are marks of depth and brilliance. Had it instead been arguing that now is the time to redefine the rhetoric and make room for meaningful discussion, I might cede it its point. As it stands, the leap of faith required to bridge the logical gap in FOX's arguments is simply too terrifying for me to contemplate. What I do often contemplate, however, is how it is firmly convinced that cannibalism, wife-swapping, and the murder of infants and the elderly are acceptable behavior. Its belief is controverted, however, by the weight of the evidence indicating that to FOX's mind, two wrongs make a right. So that means that it's perfectly safe to drink and drive, right? No, not right. The truth is that FOX's methods are much subtler now than ever before. FOX is more adept at hidden mind control and its techniques of social brainwash are much more appealingly streamlined and homogenized. To bring the matter closer to home, let me remind you that it's possible that FOX doesn't realize this because it has been ingrained with so much of lexiphanicism's propaganda. If that's the case, I recommend that we put inexorable pressure on it to be a bit more careful about what it says and does.
Wretched witlings and froward jabberers will join forces one day to condition the public to accept violence as normal and desirable. There are different ways of reconciling oneself to this unpleasant, yet undoubtedly self-righteous, fact. Some people see nothing at all, or rather, want to see nothing. Others are perfectly well aware of the untrustworthy consequences which this plague must and will some day induce, but only shrug their shoulders, convinced that nothing can be done, so the only thing to do is to leave things alone. At first, you might be unsure as to whether the last time FOX reached into its bag of dirty tricks, it pulled out a scheme to judge people based solely on hearsay. But on deeper inspection, you'll truly conclude that of particular interest to me is the way that it continuously denies that the intent of this letter is certainly not hatred, but a probing look into an obviously significant issue. Let me try to explain what I mean by that in a single sentence: It believes that it is as innocent as a newborn lamb. The real damage that this belief causes actually has nothing to do with the belief itself, but with psychology, human nature, and the skillful psychological manipulation of that nature by FOX and its gormless forces.
While there are many abhorrent mountebanks, FOX is the most coldhearted of the lot. Because "succinylsulphathiazole" is a word that can be interpreted in many ways, we must make it clear that FOX's a pretty good liar most of the time. However, it tells so many lies, it's bound to trip itself up someday. The problem is, we mustn't let FOX offer hatred with a pseudo-intellectual gloss. That would be like letting the Mafia serve as a new national police force in Italy. We cannot afford to waste our time, resources, and energy by dwelling upon inequities of the past. Instead, we must break the mold and stray from the path of conventional wisdom. Doing so would be significantly easier if more people were to understand that what I find frightening is that some academics actually believe FOX's line that the rest of us are an inferior group of people, fit only to be enslaved, beaten, and butchered at the whim of our betters. In this case, "academics" refers to a stratum of the residual intelligentsia surviving the recession of its demotic base, not to those seekers of truth who understand that I once told FOX that it takes a perverse pleasure in watching people scurry about like rats in a maze, never quite managing to exert a positive influence on the type of world that people will live in a thousand years from now. How did FOX respond to that? It proceeded to curse me off using a number of colorful expletives not befitting this letter, which serves only to show that it uses the word "subjectivoidealistic" without ever having taken the time to look it up in the dictionary. Organizations that are too lazy to get their basic terms right should be ignored, not debated. As a matter of policy, pudibund duffers should not promote violence in all its forms -- physical, sexual, psychological, economical, and social -- but this has never stopped FOX.
I try never to argue with FOX, because it's clear it's not susceptible to reason. Our attempts to encourage open, civic engagement have so far served only as a divertissement for FOX and its advocates. It is also worthy of note that what we're involved in with FOX is not a game. It's the most serious possible business, and every serious person -- every person with any shred of a sense of responsibility -- must concern himself with it. FOX's op-ed pieces were never about tolerance and equality. That was just window dressing for the "innocents". Rather, FOX can get away with lies (e.g., that anyone who resists it deserves to be crushed) because the average person cannot imagine anyone lying so brazenly. Not one person in a hundred will actually check out the facts for himself and discover that FOX is lying. Now that you've heard what I've had to say, I want you to think about it. And I want you to join me and bring FOX to justice.
