Is there a such thing as there being different levels of being a geek?

YES and i consider myself bout a level 4 not as crazed as level 5 but i still know what i'm talkin bout

Sure...I wouldn't consider myself the highest level of geek, but am pretty geeky none the less. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being uber geek, I would say I'm a 7.

Perhaps we should create some kind of diagram to correlate the different levels of geekdom.

A pie chart maybe or even a graph! Oh oh oh!!! Ill get my compass. Gosh, golly this will be fun.

Thats a ****ing lie. We could measure the percentage of geek compared to normalness for each individually level of geek! Then we can visuallise this through the power of the Pie!

Definitely different levels of geekness. I think it's more of a category thing than a level, in my opinion. Though once you branch out into the certain categories of geekness YOU CAN then implement the level modes.

As I am...a comic book geek. And I'm a level 4 geek on the comic book level. With there being 10 levels of geekness involved with EACH category.

The only way we will resolve this and set up a proper catagory system is to set up some kind of Coucil of Elders, ill grab my wizard hat and robe. I elect myself as leader (as I am a level 40 druid) and we shall vote on council members. After we destroy the one ring, we shall have punch and pie. Then set up the graphs.

Companies are fully aware of who to capitalize on when it comes to marketing stuff: The urban crowd, the female crowd, and the geek crowd. Those three always pan out when it comes to demographics.
