That would be ****ing sweet. And you should make two and give me one for free because I'm the one who discovered the picture for it.

I'm hoping to have time to go to WWC on Saturday so maybe I'll see you wearing it.

rioght now it's a maybe, but I'll pm you my cell number if it becomes definite, and we should hook up for lunch or something

Sounds cool. I don't know if I'll be there or not yet because of work but if I am it'd be cool to get together.

yeah, I wasn't planning on going, but I'd mentioned it in passing to my dad a few weeks ago, and the other day he calls me wanting to know when it is. I debated for awhile, because if we go, we'll have to rush all the arrangements,. plus, I don't have as much $$$ as I'd like to for a con

but I can get free Artist alley passes.....

You know...both of these guys look about 10,00 times more impressive than our Captain America. I really don't get all the flack Liefield gets. "He can't draw proportions right". Big deal...it's a comic. Personally I am a Jim Lee fan above all other artists, but Liefield wasn't that bad in my opinion.
If you are going to diss him for improper proportions or illogical drawings, why not attack others. Whoever draws the Hulk should not draw him as a cut and defined muscle monster. With his strength there is no weight on earth pretty much that would provide enough resistance for his muscles to be ripped an dcut the way he is drawn. If anything he should just be a big green guy with the build of a stalky guy.

Big difference between drawing the Hulk and and a regular person like Captain America for instance. The Hulk is supposed to be freakishly huge and unproportioned, that's his bit.

Captain America is supposed to be the pinacle of human perfection and therefore should be drawn as such not as

And Jim Lee, while not my favorite artist, is lightyears ahead of Liefield.

Step away from the crack.

I don't think light years quite conveys it. Jim Lee is so far beyond Liefield that there's really no comparison.

It'd be so cool if he was there.:D

You should totally get a picture with him in it.

Ah...Liefeld appreciation...I appreciate that I don't see much of his work these days...

If people wanna defend Liefeld, that's fine. But please don't defend his use of terrible proportions. With so many other artists who CAN draw right, there's no reason for Liefeld to not take the time to say "Wow, Cable's head looks like it's the size of a pea, maybe I should make it bigger."

yeah, I've decided I'm gonna make 5 or 10 Liefeld Rules shirts, and either trade em or give em away. I can't legally sell them, I don't think

although, that may be one of the perks of my artist alley pass, I may be able to sell them
